IMO Steel Sledge is GOAT if you spec into it. It's heavy attack can 1 shot almost anything. Anything that it doesn't one shot, 75% chance to be knocked prone AND 50% chance to knock down anything near the target (which deals damage, so you have an AOE attack). Regain 30 stamina on kill. Use half the normal cost for Power attacks. In addition to all of that, Sledges do increased block damage. Lets you one shot most wooden blocks/boxes/doors and deal roughly 400+ damage to Vault doors. So you don't need to bring any specialized raiding tools for POIs or bases.

Fun video. Plenty of discussion available. What:s needed is a chart that compares: 1. Ease of ammo access. 2. Ease of finding. 3. Power x rate of fire. 4. Ease of use. My opinion, late game best weapon if ammo were unlimited would be robot turrets. Set a pair of those down and run circles around them, occassionally picking them up for reload and repair. I mean the don't miss. Me carrying a high level stun baton to...stun Zs and one-hit kill them, without needing any ammo, just repair kits, that is perfection right there. Those two items are my best.

Pipe baton/ spears are some of the best early weapons you can get in game. Killing speed is fantastic once you start investing points into the skills for both. Use quick attack strikes with batons to hit multiple zombies and use power attacks for death blows to the head. I think wooden clubs are actually terrible early game. Even a detriment when you start fighting more than one zombie. And if you run into stronger zombies when fighting multiples your screwed.

Most of the time you are finding your first double-barreled shotty at a time when your hot bar isn’t crowded and you are getting shells at the same rate as whatever other gun you are putting point into. At this point of the game you can’t keep up with ammo for your primary weapon (unless you are going bow or rifles - and in that case, don’t try and convince us you aren’t switching to melee fast or guns as an emergency at this stage of the game), and stamina is an issue, or this is your intended ranged tree and you can finally start shooting things. That shotgun is your best chance to drop an early cop when you are cornered in the bathroom, the door is broken down, your stamina is at 15, your arm is sprained, you are bleeding, and a cop is wrenching in your face. You are hurt and need to stop a gushing wound on your leg. You have a kit, you have one of most first aid supplies. You would be good if weren’t for this pig. For the same reason that devoting a single slot to a fully loaded machine is the GOAT in late game. No point devoted, or even just one after your main build is fully fleshed out. Even better if it isn’t your main build, so you can use this ability at literally no cost to your main play style. The double-barreled shotgun should share the spot considering its game stage availability.

Well, depends on your experience in the game. Depending on your accuracy..perks / spec. For one I'm very good with spears. Even used them at horde nights spec in it and with proper running gear. Gun wise it's what ever I find first. Out the gate if I'm trying to be tactical I will get everything needed for each pipe weapon. First is rifle. If i get to a scope it's over. First point I almost always get run and gun. For every POI if i got to I will go outside and run around the building until I kill everything even if it's one shot at a time. My favorites are in early game stone spear, bone knife, pipe shotguns (yes three of them) Mid game or as soon as I get it Stun baton, Ak (early oh @&>/ weapon), pipe bomb, and any bow for sneak kills. Late game M60, pipe bombs, contact grenade, sniper rifle, and for fun steel spear. Spears are great for their reach. Yet best early weapon for me is bone knife. The way i use it I can kill nearly any zombie that isn't radioactive.

I love the pump shotty, especially if I get it early.. it feels good when you shoot it and it feels more accurate than the auto.. but I will always take the auto for infestation runs and horde nights for the ammo capacity.. anyway, for me the pump shotty is goated
@candybetta4061Ай бұрын
From my solo survivalist difficulty experience: I'd say when it comes to raiding POIs the auto shotty is the goat. It's so much more ammo efficient than the m60. And I don't mean in the sense of not being able to afford the ammo, but said ammo taking too many inventory slots when raiding a tier 6. I really wish they made 7.62 stack to 300, they did it to .44 so why not. But of course horde night m60 slays. Smg has best of both worlds. Stone sledge makes early game a cakewalk, everything gets knocked down and two-three-shotted. Feels more ez mode than the club imo. Not to mention later on you can AOE stun everyone, not quite as well as the insane stun baton, but more damage per hit. Spears really arent that bad. I havent played that much stealth in 1.0 but compound crossbow, not the bow, is S tier in raiding, when you can clean the whole place with insane sneak damage without ever being spotted by a single zombie. I agree using leather knuckles early on when you have minimal perks and armor feels like torture. The buff they should give to timed charges is to just make them stack t to at least 25 for goodness sake. 10 of them is nothing. minor nitpick is why would you ever use a weapon without having the perks except really really early or doing a specific challenge pump shotty will forever stay in my heart in SSSS tier, its too satisfying to use
@nickclark6236Ай бұрын
Putting the drone as mid...you can stack the cargo mods. That means being able to stay out longer and do more mission in a single go. And the spears...they have built in armor pen, can hit from 2 or just over 2 blocks away and you can use the serrated blade and burning shaft mod on it to stack dot damage. Crossbow is mid...it is a massive jump in damage from the hunting bow and allows you to also use scopes and other mods like the bipod and laser. It's the best weapon to use when raiding, getting one hit kills on most zombies before you wake things up and have to go loud.

I like the vulture a bit more but it does take some set up for me. I actually really like the enforcer set except for the gloves, I just feel like preacher gloves are top tier, but with enough bonuses to your pistols the vulture can be a pretty devastating weapon especially with base penetration with all ammo types. I actually would rank the m60 as just good myself. It doesn't tend to be as much of a game changer for me. If I have 1 I'm not using any lower tier weapons but that can suck because I end up not using my 7.62 ammo very much because that thing is a screamer spawning machine. You basically can't use that weapon without calling in a screamer and I've had some shit fly waaay off the handles because once some screamers spawn they call in more and you have no choice but to gun them down with the weapon calling them in the 1st place. Shit's so ridiculous I've failed jobs over it. I will say it kinda redeems itself on horde night since you don't really have to worry about screamers. Personally for me the smg has to be the goat. It definitely takes a good bit of mags to unlock so you might end up being able to buy one before you can craft it especially if you aren't doing agility but it's good regardless. It's sort of the perfect back up weapon, plenty of ammo since 9mm is everywhere, decent mag size with 60 or 45 for the drum mag and extended mag respectively, great dps/crowd control, plenty of great attachments including silencers if stealth is something you like (not sure on how it effects screamer spawns since it does tend to bring them in as well but I will say when I did agility and did a stealth build I never had the same kind of screamer issues like with the m60 they did spawn but again not like they did when using m60). The accuracy is pretty insane even with hip fire and the base damage is good as well. Just an all rounder with no real weaknesses. An smg is almost always in my load out with or without points into it and it stays in my loadout until I quit the world.

If you are doing pure intelect the standard pipe baton can get you a long way. Perking in to batons and physician with stun/repulser mods make it easy mode, add in a turret or two... easy. Blades are probably the best damage out put. Bleeds, insta kill, no stamina.. whew.. bone knife can be used in any build early on. way better than the club, spear or sledge even with no perks. Tag on assassin armor and stealth perk and just sneak through most pois. Hunting knife is the best dps/stam in the game but machete seems to have a small aoe. Best four weapons in the game IMO: machete, Stun Baton, Sniper rifle (ap ammo with perks OMG) and then either tac or machine gun. I've seen gameplay where people max out revolver build with the enforcer armor set that allows 50% faster reload speed for tier 6. Together with the full magazine bonus (Magnum enforcer) that makes all revolver bullets pierce. Without the need for AP bullets, it controls and kills large group of zombies easily and quickly. Reload speed also felt instant. It became rather cheap to clear high tier POI with minimum bullets used. So for endgame, I will argue it deserves better spot.

You sure don't know a lot. gave your own opinion then stated "I don't know", after every weapon. Pipe rifle is the best pipe gun, its free to get right off the must do intro mission. Depending on the game level your playing if you are playing on normal its op 1 tap head with no scaling vs first 7 days Z-boys. Spears never liked them myself but they don't suck they are 1 of the best choke point hold weapons you can get if and only if you include the spear hunters book for full stamina on heavy attack kill (finished all 7 books) and pierce targets book 5 I think. They out range all other melee builds and can swing forever just like clubs just better at multi hitting. I have done a full up to day 250 horde base 7 plus players melee horde nights and our 1 spear guy just soloed the horde every night. I agree with the stun B being at the top most people think its trash its not its a that target will never move the I can't lose 1-1 weapon have it with nerd tats makes it better for sure but not needed. Its better vs big threats like a bear. But from the start you said you would base it off when do you get it. And you have pipe bombs being in great and not the goat from a day 1 until the end offered as reward for missions. and 3 on ground and 4th lit can kill all but the latest of hordes. meaning ez and early of use but scales into late game. M60 is not early nor is a sustainable amount of ammo consumed for early. A early toilet Knife is great best in slot regardless of weapon want for 30 damage and no stamina cost. you can swing forever and the knockdown rate is to high for it not to be good. with out scaling the skill or added books the fist are useless.

I don't play normal difficulty I play Survivalist and in higher difficulty the spears do not do enough damage to hold up when fighting higher health zombies, The pipe rifle is dogshit when it cant one shot on higher difficulty games, because of the long reload time, the pipe machine gun while not that good, it is the best option ALWAYS. The goat is reserved for one weapon and pipe bombs don't hold up enough late game to warrant that rating, although they are very good early-mid game. By the time I get my hands on an LMG my ammo supply is always stacked, but there are many ways to get ammo so it shouldn't be a problem, especially if you have miner 69er or someone in your group does because its fairly easy to make.

In the apocalyptic world of 7 Days to Die, where survival hinges on resource management, strategic planning, and quick decision-making, the Wooden Club emerges as a surprisingly effective tool for early survival. Though it might seem rudimentary compared to more advanced weaponry, the Wooden Club's value lies in its simplicity, accessibility, and versatility. This essay explores why the Wooden Club is arguably the best weapon for players in the initial stages of the game, highlighting its crafting ease, resource efficiency, and role in survival strategy. 1. Ease of Crafting One of the most compelling reasons the Wooden Club is indispensable in the early game is its straightforward crafting process. Players can craft this weapon with minimal resources-just one Wood and one Plant Fiber. These materials are abundant and easily gathered: Wood comes from chopping down trees, and Plant Fiber can be harvested from breaking grass or other plant sources. This low barrier to entry means that players can quickly equip themselves with a basic yet functional weapon without needing to scavenge or grind for rare materials. The simplicity of crafting the Wooden Club also ensures that new players can quickly familiarize themselves with the game’s mechanics without being overwhelmed by complex recipes or resource requirements. It serves as an accessible introduction to the crafting system and encourages players to experiment with other recipes as they progress. 2. Resource Efficiency In the early stages of 7 Days to Die, players are often constrained by limited resources and the need to manage their inventory carefully. The Wooden Club’s low resource cost makes it an efficient choice for players who need to conserve their materials for more pressing concerns, such as building shelter or crafting other essential tools. Its availability ensures that players can allocate their resources strategically, focusing on survival rather than spending time and effort searching for more complex weapon components. Moreover, the Wooden Club’s durability and ease of repair contribute to its cost-effectiveness. While it may not have the longevity of higher-tier weapons, its low crafting cost means that players can afford to replace it or repair it frequently without significant resource expenditure. 3. Versatility and Functionality Despite its basic design, the Wooden Club is surprisingly versatile. It can be used effectively against a variety of threats, including zombies and animals. Its basic attack mechanics are straightforward, allowing players to engage enemies without needing to master complex controls or strategies. This simplicity is particularly advantageous for new players who are still learning the game’s combat system. The Wooden Club is also valuable for its utility beyond combat. It can be used to break open crates and doors, providing access to valuable resources and loot. This multifunctionality makes it an essential tool for exploration and resource gathering, further cementing its role as a cornerstone of early survival. 4. Early Game Combat Efficiency In the initial stages of the game, players face a variety of challenges, including limited access to better weapons and armor. The Wooden Club’s damage output, while modest, is sufficient to handle early game enemies effectively. With proper use, players can take down zombies and animals with relative ease, provided they employ tactics such as kiting and managing their stamina. The Wooden Club’s slow swing speed and lower damage are balanced by its simplicity and effectiveness in early game scenarios. Players can focus on evasion and strategic attacks rather than relying solely on high damage output. This approach aligns well with the game’s survival mechanics, encouraging players to adapt and refine their combat strategies as they progress. 5. Psychological and Strategic Value From a psychological perspective, the Wooden Club provides a sense of accomplishment and empowerment early in the game. Crafting and wielding a weapon, even a basic one, gives players a tangible sense of progression and control. This psychological boost is important for maintaining motivation and engagement, especially in the early stages of a game that can be challenging and unforgiving. Strategically, the Wooden Club fits well into the early game survival strategy. Its low cost and easy availability allow players to focus on other critical aspects of survival, such as building a secure base, gathering resources, and fortifying defenses. By freeing up resources and reducing the need for more complex weaponry, the Wooden Club supports a balanced approach to early game survival. 6. Transition to Advanced Weapons While the Wooden Club is ideal for the early game, it also serves as a stepping stone to more advanced weapons. As players progress and gather more resources, they can transition to higher-tier weapons with greater damage output and durability. The Wooden Club’s role in this transition is significant; it provides a foundational experience that helps players understand basic combat mechanics and resource management before they move on to more complex gear. In summary, the Wooden Club stands out as the best weapon for early survival in 7 Days to Die due to its ease of crafting, resource efficiency, versatility, and role in early game combat. Its straightforward design and low resource cost make it an accessible and effective tool for new players, while its multifunctionality supports exploration and resource gathering. Furthermore, the Wooden Club’s role in the progression from basic to advanced weaponry underscores its importance in the overall survival strategy. As players navigate the challenges of the post-apocalyptic world, the Wooden Club remains a symbol of early resilience and adaptability, embodying the essence of survival in the face of adversity.
