Hey, use "--no text fonts numbers" at the end of your prompt in midjourney and it will create logos, cards etc without text (most of the time). Workload reduced by another 5-10%😂 Edit: also with the business cards you can use "--ar 1.41:1" to get the right aspect ratio. That way it automatically fullscales the card.

So legit question, with the recent ruling that AI art isn't able to be copyrighted, what stops someone from going into you shop and just taking the designs you have and selling them? "a new ruling from the U.S. Copyright Office suggests that coming up with the right prompt isn't enough to be considered creative work. On Tuesday, the office ruled for the first time against granting protection for artwork produced using an A.I. tool, reports Reuters." that seems like a rough place to be in with logos too if you sell someone a logo that can not be copywritten.

My concern making a logo for some one tbis way is the recent court ruling that you can't copywrite ai art. It's considered public domain, which I would highly worry about selling to someone. I am hoping he responds to my comment about this, because I am genuinely curious about his answer.

Ideally, though, I'd think, the aim should be to make enough money that you can then retire early and have your time free once more. Even better, should be making a world where we don't need to work long hours to begin with, to use the phenomenal productivity created from AI to generate a world where that for almost all people, paid work is reduced to only a small thing from each day.

Hey Alek, great videos! Was curious - would creating an Etsy store that includes, resume templates, business cards, powerpoint presentation templates and bookkeeping excel packets be worth it? Or does each Etsy store focus only on one kind of item? I have already started using Midjourney and Chat for my products. Thanks so much!

I don't see an issue with including all of these in one

If you were buying a resume template, would you choose one from the "all-in-one" store, or the "resume professionals" store?
@llesniksvajger Жыл бұрын
@@guysavage3347 would probably ignore the guy calling himself a professional on etsy.

@@guysavage3347 Depends, an "all-in-one" business focused shop could have very good sets of designs that collaborate together to enhance your image

Intriguing ideas here. I would caution that the digital graphics and templates market has TANKED this year. I’ve had an online graphics store for over a decade and purchases have dried up and I’m getting the same feedback from others in my industry and even a graphics marketplace. So, just keep that in mind. This market (niche) are highly over saturated with competition. As always of course, knowing your industry and marketing will make a difference, but it’s overall a tough market right now.

Hey Alex, could you make a video explaining VAT rates for selling on Etsy and POD? For example, when you sell on Etsy they charge VAT, but when you buy from eg. Printify to fulfill the order you again pay VAT, so you're essentially paying double. Is there anything that can be done about this?
@MrJoe1199 Жыл бұрын
Ummmm... Isn't Etsy charging the BUYER the VAT rates? If that's the case (like it is with selling POD on ebay or facebook marketplace) then would you not just pay the VAT that Printify or Printfull charges?

should be as simple as reading on the Fees/Costs associated in the FAQ and billing side of the Etsy site.

He fails to mention Etsy fees and ad expenses, without which your account won't even be seen due to high competition on Etsy! Take with a grain of salt!

You'll also need to be able to stay focus with generating art. It's so easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole and start just making cool art.

you're one of these youtubers who makes a whole bunch of videos on "how to make $X.XX of money by doing this!" but never actually does it. if you could really make $35k, $50k etc per month wouldnt you be doing that too. you know its not true and if it is true its for a very tiny fraction case study. its weird to me how so many people fall for these types of videos. the real method is make videos on how you could make money. make videos preying on people who desperately want it to be true and you get views, subs and money that way.
