The censor on the gun was only because I've had videos get age restricted before for having guns shown while being used to commit crimes. I know it's silly, but KZbin's policies are silly sometimes.

As was hinted at, they may have thought it was the right house, that is entirely possible. It could be that they got the wrong street, or went to a house a few doors down from where they meant to go. I've done that once or twice in my life. It's easily done.

@@scottw.3258then why did they stand there until the woman enters the house? Wouldn’t they ask if this is the right place? @scottw.3258
@scottw.3258 8 ай бұрын
@@dante_0962 Is it not possible they were parked on the street, got out their car and walked round to the door? Why would they have to have been stood there waiting? Surely you, at some point in your life have just missed someone, or someone has just missed you? I know it's happened to me a number of times, where i've either just entered my house or just left and someone has then come to my door. These things do happen. They weren't at the door as she entered. She was inside the house, the door was closed when they turned the corner to the door. I have to say also, both looked shocked by the reaction of the Woman and her screaming. It looked like they then realised they were at the wrong house, perhaps they were even concerned for a moment as to why she was screaming. When she screamed she was phoning the Police, they left. Most people would. They were probably wondering why she was phoning the Police? They then perhaps put it down to her being erratic, weird. Nothing in that video looked overly suspicious. They may have been meaning harm, if you want to suspect the worst of them. Equally, they may genuinely have gone to the wrong door and just got the hell out of there when they heard her screaming.

That last scenario scares the hell out of me: someone with ill intent framing themself as a victim in distress to take advantage of someone's good-nature. There isnt really any good way to prepare for that scenario or vet the person for your own safety because of the apparent urgency. We need as many kind and caring folks in the world as we can get in today's day and age, but people like this would give anyone pause, which in turn would put people in actual distress potentially in further danger.

@@darth_kal-el You don't help someone by putting yourself in potential danger. There was a common robbery attempt where people would play audio of babies crying in the middle of the night when I went to college to lure people out of their houses or down alleyways if they were walking back from the bar. I remember in 2015 I heard it coming from some woods behind my rented house. I called 911 and as I was hanging up the audio literally cut out mid-wail.

Yeah this one is terrifying tbh. El Paso, like many border areas, has a lot of human trafficking. To me, the woman seemed genuine. Her hair was a wreck, her eyes were puffy, and she was in lingerie. Could that be part of the set-up? Absolutely. Could she be hiding from someone after escaping a home she was held in? Yes. But since you never know anymore, best bet is to call the police and keep an eye on the footage. I wouldn't feel comfortable opening the door and it's sad if she was in genuine need of help. Where there's genuine need, there's also sickos who will exploit people's good nature to rob or harm others.

It is a shame, I admit even when this played out i was like "she genuinely seem distressed" as she approached panting for breath and seemed on point, yet its sad to think it was likely a act for cameras to be safe just to get someone to open their doors. Sad as people in need of help will now potentially be left to fend for themselves as others will fear for their true motive.

Had something like that happen to me a few years ago. I was at home during the day and around 1 pm there was a knock at the front door. I answered it and there was a teenage girl standing on the porch. As I opened the screen door, she shoved a cell phone at me and demanded, "Charge my phone!". I had never seen her before and knowing most of the people that lived on the street I knew she was NOT someone that belonged in the neighborhood. I smiled and then shut the door. I remember in 1987, I was 6 years old and this creepy woman would stand at the bus for school and stare at me and the kids at the bus stop every day evilly and smiling nodding her head as if she was saying "yes ill get you ". She'd always be screaming about stuff that never made sense. She was creepy as shit. The moms were creeped out too. I told my dad and he said" point her out". He was sitting in his skylark and I pointed said "shes right there" I'll never forget it,he casually got out of the car and punched her right in the face 😂. I was like "Dad i thought you were just gonna tell her to stop!". He said "I did" 😂 my dad got arrested for 13 days and he told the judge "I hate creepy people" I asked him years later did he regret doing that,he said "you never seen her again did you?'😂. It's funny he just casually walked out of the car and just popped her 😂 . He said I knew what it was like being chased by a psychopath when he was a paper boy and he'd never let us fear the world like that. I love you pop lol

The 1st video is why I always check my surroundings when I'm outside, especially when I'm approaching my car or front door. I also immediately lock my doors as soon as they are closed. Sometimes, if you're a few seconds too late, it will be enough for a criminal to do something to you. My aunt told me a story about how when she was my age and was out with friends, some dudes ran up to them while they were in their car and tried to open their car doors while they were at a red light or stop sign. If my aunt hadn't had her car doors locked, there's no telling where that story would have gone.

The last story with the blonde woman --- posing as a female in distress / danger, only to burglarize --- rly pisses me off! You occasionally see ppl now hesitate to open their door to a female in legitimate distress, out of fear that it's a ruse. Sick, sick, sick. That a woman would take something as serious as an escape from a violent situation, as an opportunity to hurt good ppl, makes me wish she could spend 10 years in prison.

@3825cmac yes, that would be justice better served, indeed!! But jerks like her escape real world ramifications, and if someone hurt her in defense of their own life, they might get in trouble, which is getting me pissed off all over again. It's controversial, because they were still teens (I think), but in MN, an older man was robbed and terrorized over a year, by kids he tried to help by employing in past summers. But they took his kindness for weakness, until he finally snapped in Thanksgiving of 2012. I remember how the media portrayed it, like he deserved life in prison for being a "monster," i.e., finally stopping it --- but I researched the situation, minus the disgusting political media spin, and I feel that man shouldn't have spent more than a cpl years in prison for possible manslaughter if the jury couldn't stomach the self-defense angle. In rural Minnesota, you don't repeatedly rob people, especially men. They have shotguns. Florida and MN are big into self-defense, especially in rural areas.

@cijmo lol, I took my 6'4" boyfriend for granted as in home "security" and / or Ring Camera. Seems that scary stuff happens whenever he's 5hrs away, in the capacity of caretaker for his wealthy nonagenerian grandparents. Like the day my new crackhead neighbors, "thanked me" for my repeat corraling of their lost black lab puppy in 95°F summer heat (the dog wasn't left water while they left him on cheap 5' tether, right the sun from 10am-6pm --- no collar, no water, no food, new neighborhood, and they don't even check on the dog once in 8hrs) and I had keep retying him, leaving a big bowl of water, after playing with him in my teeny yard where I found him drinking rainwater from my turtle pool. Finally, after 4 hrs of playing this game, I put him inside the big screen porch with water, and of course, Mr. MethHead Macho 22 yr old Baby Daddy guy tries to break down my locked door, and ends of up breaking the water bowl against my door after 5mins of insanely terrifying pounding, which didn't lead to his intended goal of kicking my ass for 5hours of volunteer dog sitting. I called the cops, nothing happened. Their little gang of 3-7yr old kids, tried beating up my neighbors tiny dog with ROCKS because their parents guessed it was THEM, not ME, that gave the dog water and kept it from getting lost or hit by a car.

I don't know why but Mr. Nightmare is the only scary story youtuber i can watch, everyone else just feels like a cheap imitation and doesn't have that same impact as him. Just something about his voice and presentation with the music and sound effects as well. I must have heard all his stories several times now over the years, by far the best to listen to before going to sleep.

One way to realize that the girl in the last video has no good intentions is how low she bangs the door. Being chased by someone you want to make the most noise possible, so we can conclude that she wanted that neighbor to open the door but the other neighbors don’t realize.

My ring camera caught a man in my backyard a few months ago. He sat there, at around 2am, for like 20 minutes completely still and then, really robotically, stood up and marched into the woods. We have a lot of drug addicts in my area, but it was scary.

Be careful with those signs that have phrases like that. More and more they are being used as examples by attorneys to say you have a premeditation to kill an intruder rather than try to call the cops or de-escalate the issue. Stupid, but you know how anyone will find any reason to plead a case.

My 35 year old ass pointing out the fact that him choosing the walkway is what probably saved that woman from being r*ped or robbed or maybe worse? I thought it was ironic that he walked like a lemmel down the walkway instead of just quickly sneaking up over the grass which would have made him catch up to her sooner, and she wouldn't have locked the door in time. Okay yeah, that's reason 99 kids shouldn't be on youtube. Rtard. @@tahoe-hx5sq

The second one reminds me of an incident I had… One time I came home from playing a show between 10 and 11 pm. We didn’t have a garage at the time, so I pulled into the driveway and parked. A white car pulled up directly behind me in the driveway and waited. I couldn’t see who was in the car, but I was spooked. My now husband (boyfriend at the time), was still working on the technical crew for the show I just played, putting all the equipment away at an outdoor venue. He wouldn’t be back for another hour or so, and nobody else lived in the house with us. I waited to get out of the car, not knowing who was parked behind me. After about 30 seconds to a minute they backed out and drove down the street in the same direction we had both been heading prior to pulling up. I hurried to get out of my car and unlock the front door of the house, and they made a u-turn at the corner. As I closed the door, I heard them speeding away back in the direction we had come from. I think they passed by a second time, if I remember correctly. I did end up calling the police afterward, and an officer scouted the neighborhood to check for the car, but didn’t find them. They said they’d keep checking around my neighborhood throughout the night to ensure there weren’t any further issues. Be safe out there, everybody. You never know who’s around, so stay aware.

My goodness, this video is chilling. It serves as an important reminder that you should always be alert and check that no one's following you and that as you approach your door, you should have your keys handy and not dawdle, just in case anyone is lurking or following you. Unfortunately for me, I live in an apartment block that has a main door that is very slow to close. There would be ample time for someone to sneak in behind me and this is a fear that haunts me.
