fantastic idea! I paint rocks. All kinds of things like bugs, flowers, scenery, etc. I had a friend that drew faces that went well with the shape of the rock, amazing. I think I am going to try something similar to what you did.

I'm watching because I've been learning with wire but my hands are so sore! Wire wrapping is harder than they make out 😒 I do this to relax. It even competes with some serious addictions (smoking being one). I'm Australian and about to embark on the Van Life. Obviously beaches are a big thing here, so I can go for walks and find rocks, shells, glass, etc. I like leather cord but have used lots of different cord. I don't sell anything. In fact I rarely keep anything. I've had to declutter and minimise drastically to go from a house to a van. At first you think "well what's the point?" But look at the Buddhist monks who create those beautiful sand mandalas then they put the sand back into a river. It's symbolic of impermanence. Peace out rock wrappers! ✌️👍☯️🇦🇺
