It's abilities are related to imagination which is why it primarily attacked kids, stronger imagination, but It could attack anyone. It is also implied to have influence on the psyche of the town causing it to have a higher crime rate and most people ignoring these issues. That primarily impacted adults. It does appear that adults with a stronger connection to their imagination and childhood are influenced less, which is why the Losers Club almost all went into some form of creative field.

There is an easy way to tell though based on how to deal with black bears and grizzly bears. First of all, wear bells to know they are coming and carry bear spray. Then learn how to identify their area based on their scat. Black bear scat will have lots of berries in it. Grizzly bear scat will have lots of bells in it and smell like bear spray.

Now I have a decent PC but my internet is from the stone age, 1gb takes 2 hours to download so playing multiplayer games is a bit hard without a lot of lag. They are installing Fiber in my area so hopefully soon I can come back to games like Payday 2 and Team Fortress 2. Also I have more nostalgia for the first game and I doubt there's a lot of people playing that one. I played the second game but it barely ran on my old PC and one map I only got like 10fps. I have missed most all of the updates as I only played Payday 2 when it released.

the absolute darkest easter egg in a game I know is in Persona 5 Royal. In the boss fight of the first dungeon, the boss, Shadow Kamoshida, summons 'cognitive' versions of the students he was abusing (primarily physically). A cognition is them appearing as he perceives them in the real world. One of them is Shiho, the girl whose attempted suicide as a result of his actions makes up part of the climax of Kamoshida's arc. If you attack her Cognitive form in the fight, you find out she's weak to every element, especially physical. The reasoning? Kamoshida sees her as weakling he can push around in any way, so obviously this trait of 'weak to beatings' crosses over to her in the Metaverse

Dunno if you knew, but in World of Warcraft there is a creepy Easter Egg that involves a group of children running playfully around the town of Stormwind, and then leaving or the town of Goldshire. If you follow them at around 7:30 AM (server time), they will eventually go into the Goldshire Inn and up to one of the rooms. In there, they will stand as if forming a weird symbol, and if you are present in the room, a disembodied voice will tell you that you will die. Another one is the thalassophobia-inducing Kraken in the northern shore of the Vol´dun desert. But you probably knew of that one.
