Pointy shoes cause bunions on women’s feet. I know; I used to wear pointy high heels a lot. Now I rarely do and, can barely walk in heels. Men get to wear shoes with enough room for their toes.

After one excruciating foot and ankle repair, following 40+ years of heels and boots, payday had come. The other foot needs repair as well, but it's been 9 years since the procedure. Today, I'm facing double knee replacement as well. The shoes available today allow a wider toe box with a point. The rounded toe of these flats today are a big no-no. Not flattering on anyone. When buying a 1/2 size bigger, excellent gel orthotics help fill any gap at achilles tendon and cushion the flaming ball of your foot.

Excellent advice I already follow that colour palette I’ve often noticed in Calvin Klein , Boss, Tommy Hilfiger shops it’s not the quality of the clothes but the neutral palette that makes them seem more expensive when in reality the wool coats I find are very thin and poor quality .The only problem I have with pointy shoes is they add to your shoe size so make your feet look huge if your Uk 7 or 8 so I avoid them .Personally I love quality leather boots knee length in supple leather I think they look very elegant teamed with a beautiful fitted skirt or knit dress with a cowl neck and beautiful fitted wool coat . I stear clear of baggy clothes I don’t like the lagen look what is the point of being slim then hiding it in baggy clothes. I wear t shirts in neutral colours Gap do excellent ones with stretch in them and v necks are very flattering and are an excellent base to build your outfit from . I notice the Italians in Milan wear neutral colour outfits but then add a splash of colour with their handbags .

My friend bought YSL bag in YSl store, after 9 month she went back to report that handle is broken. Other friend has issues with LV backpack, bracelet and belt. months of waiting for repair and listening complains that she wore it wrong. I made my decision about high brands. Not worth it

sorry, but very irritating to have to watch such a long commercial before what I was interested in...

Well..... perhaps looking too expensive while great for your ego, could be somewhat dangerous as I don't want an idiot following me home to rob me. It happens. I have an expensive sports car and only go out while in the company of a gentleman in the evening. Watch out too, by wearing too much gold jewelry when you shop...... salespeople will be ALL OVER YOU. Ostentatious fashion is iffy and risky. I will add this that I'm surprised was not mentioned.....grooming. Good grooming is critical. Listen to your Grandmother's.

You can have pointed shoes WITH low heels or high heels - or no heel at all. The heel heigth has nothing to do with wether the shoe is pointed or not. Long pointed shoes are more elegant because they visually elongate the foot and hence the leg.

Are you really over fifty?!! Pointed shoes are out of fashion, cheap and outdated. At least in certain circles

I'm in my 60's with wide feet and I wear only pointy toed heels. And they are classic, so not outdated or cheap.

For the ladies who like to wear pointed shoes, try to put in them the wooden foot extenders for a few days and that helps to ease the discomfort on the toes!
@solangelauthier238121 күн бұрын
@ There would be no discomfort if the size was right ! You should never buy shoes in which you do not feel comfortable. Buy the size you need.
