Ive always wondered; to get the gold bars for the treasure hunts, do we have to go to every location step-by-step or can we just go to the actual location!?

To save you some time: The treasure hunts have to be done in sequence. Already knowing the locations provides no advantage.

@SadDetonator okay, that's of course only for treasure hunts; the places with random gold/valuables you can just go to without any letters, etc right?
