I understand that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder but I feel like he did a half butt job on the kinkiest hair textures (2:01 and 3:08). I was expecting something more for their hair. He could have done a better job in styling their hair. The short afro he could have done a gel scrunch with a lift or tiny coils and pull them apart or tiny bantu knots. With the bleached kinky afro hair, he could have done two strands flat twists on the side of her head and the rest just natural. All of these women are pretty. I am just not satisfied with the hair styles he chose for those two. Because I have seen women with the same texture style their hair and it was just off the wall gorgeous. I've seen better!

I think its the kinky curly hair. People love seeing black features on ambiguous looking girls (or at least black people do). And also most people who clicked this video probably have kinky curly hair making the girl more relatable. I know the comment section is heated about the last girl, but it really was nice to see something close to my hair type for the first time in a styling video. Although her hair seems straight, it’s likely that she needs to use products for curly hair (trust me, straight hair products do NOT work on this hair type). Also, it’s this kind of hair that can look straight some days but then have full-on complete curls the next. I promise you, she doesn’t have straight hair :)
