I remember when he crashed in outdoors when he was riding a 125. First turn got up and won, he came over a big double with a scrub while splitting two riders. This guy embodied the sport for so long. Nick C he was definitely faster than them. Sure, they won more championships, but when James was locked in he was unbeatable. Look how James won his two Supercross championships (and also a world title). 13 wins in 2007 and 11 wins in 2009. That’s domination. In 2011 before his injuries he was dominating that field too. Look at his 2008 motocross season, 24-0. Average time of victory was 27 seconds.

I was always proud of the Stewart family and James hard work to do what he Did. Even the G.O.T. said James was the fastest on a bike. The respect he has for his Parents and Brother is great. To now be a Dad himself is as awesome as the first time I saw him race in person. I hope He can enjoy riding bikes for fun and even busting out some laps as well. He made a path for others to go faster and ride harder then even, But they need to have that Stewart smile to do it. Cool to know James incite and a little about family problems, like most of us have but don't tell. Big James saw even farther then James accomplished so far in this great sport. When going back to your track, remember the pw50 times and enjoy what you got with your Kiddo JS7 seeing a update of your life is as great as watching you race a bike, From our family to yours, We are Proud of you.

It sucks that while most of us got to come up putting around and trail riding, Jame's never got to do that. He never got to ride Dirt Bikes for fun, he always raced Motocross for a career. He had to complete the career that Big Jame's wanted and dreamed about for himself. You can tell he is a little messed up on the Mental side. And Wada and the F.I.M banned him for using Prescribed Medicine for just these issues. It is great to see him being a father. It is good to see him look so happy and proud every time he says the words dad or father. I am sure that in about another 5 years we all will see him at Loretta Lynn's. When you do ride it Jame's let myself, Charlie White, David McCain and Andy Jefferson know. I think you know why. ;-)

Kinda crazy in a way aswell. Cause he said he did not feel like he had a chance. Yet he held Carmichael of for more than 50% of certain race on the two stroke, nevertheless the entire field behind him. But being James is what makes James, he did not settle in wich he should be proud of. But lets be honest, the entourage demanded to much of him at times and the fans aswell. It might have been one of his worse year in 2005 outdoors, and knowing that he struggled in his mind and all that is not fun at all, but my point is that being a fan watching someone ride a two stroke that fast (overriding) sure, but yeah riding that fast and kept the entire field honest will go to the history books, no matter the results. The bike was amazing for supercross, just look at how fast when he did not crash. For me that era and James making his mark on the two strokes 125 and the 250 is something that i will never forget and the entire industry wont. James now, deserves to do what the heck he want, and when he wants to. Well thanks for all the incredible memories!

Love James! One of my favourite riders of all time! Without a doubt and by far the most naturally gifted motocross rider ever but its sad to hear he feels the way he do. I got to call it as I see it...... In all due respect to James I dont believe everything he is saying.... I think him being so much better then everyone else for so long and winning so much for so long I thing he truly thought that he could do that forever while putting in minimum effort, and when the reality of his lack of effort caught up on him he couldn't mentally handle the fact that guys he was beating for years were now beating him.... I read a quote once and it goes like this..... when you win say little, and when you lose say nothing at all.... Either way all the best James just get on your bike and go have some fun with your buddies that's what it's all about!

My passion/hobby was building/racing cars, I thought I struck gold when I was offered to do it full time and get paid for it, over the years the passion/enjoyment faded as it became just another day job and reason I had to get out of bed early ,miss out on time with friends and family.everyone thought I was crazy when I quit, sold up the cars became a dad(which is reason enough to give up professional mx/sx) I almost despise anything race car related now. I took up racing mx again and love it more than ever before, but If it became a day job I would imagine the same thing would happen...

James..your not an idiot (the Bubba scrub proves that), you are a champion and some day you will draw on that skill set for a greater purpose. What you are going thru is what happens to most professional athletes, especially the successful ones. You will be fine and you will rediscover that passion that drove you to bliss, again.
