It’s always best to try to simplify lottie animations as much as possible to avoid potential issues. If the end placement is web then you have a big more flexibility since lottie for web has a bit more compatibility. But when you get into iOS and android you can run into lots of issues. I say try to start as simple as possible and add things if absolutely needed. And always test and verify that the lottie works before handing off.

@@Jrocchetti That's definitely helpful in a pinch, but easy bake adds a lot of bloat to the lottie file size since it adds a ton of keyframes. If its short and not too complex, usually not a huge deal.

Planning to buy m3 macbook pro for After Effects, is it really necessary to buy the m3 max? or m3 pro is enough?

I work on the M1 Max and M1 Pro and both are amazing. If you’re not doing a ton of 3d rendering you’ll be fine for a long long time with the pro. Just make sure you get enough storage on it as AE can really fill up a Drive.

Definitely the more budget friendly option to get a bigger bang for your buck with power. But if you need portability, can’t beat a MacBook.

Hey, thanks for the awesome list! I didn't know about Marker Remap and am really excited to get it (: However, I noticed that it doesn't support AE 2023 and its last update was in late 2021. I'm guessing that as long as AE doesn't change the marker functionalities too much, there's no reason for it to stop working but I'd be interested to hear your take on this. Thanks!

Yeah, it’s definitely an old old plugin, there might be others out there that do a similar thing. Also you could make it all happen manually with copy and pasting scripts my latest or previous video shows how. However the plugin still works great for me as of right now with the latest AE. And it’s such a convenient time saver so it’s totally worth it.
