Scuba channels are small compared to the monsters in the greater KZbin universe. Even the biggest channel I normally see is less than 80k subs. Here is a handful of some channels I follow and why. Sit back and enjoy a curated tour of the top scuba channels on KZbin.
Chapters:
00:33 Simply Scuba (Mark) - 78.2k subs
/ simplyscubadotcom
Biggest Scuba channel out there I can find. Gear reviews, training tips, and more…all in a British accent.
01:42 Diver’s Ready (James) - 38.9k subs
/ @diversready
Great accent, awesome content, a stand-up guy. A lot of good scuba tips and training notes. I could have a beer with this man. We do hope his ear recovers.
03:11 Alec Pierce Scuba - 36k subs
/ @alecpeircescuba_seahu...
Great guy, I'm sure he’s forgotten more about scuba and gear than I ever knew. Mostly gear tips and maintenance.
04:29 Inner Space Explorers (Akam) - 21.4k subs
/ coastaldevelopment
No joke, just the good stuff…Lots of tech and rebreathers in a no-nonsense style.
05:24 Lake Hickory Scuba (Brian?) - 15.9k subs
/ lakehickoryscuba
A humble guy. Lots of good scuba tips and video analyses of dives.
06:59 Vegan Diver Kat (Now Ocean Pancake) (Kat) - 16.3k subs
/ @oceanpancake
Diving and some broader ocean topics.
07:37 Dive Talk (Gus and Woody)- 1150 Subs only a month ago. Now over 6K!
/ @divetalk
Up and comers! This channel is going places, for sure. Product reviews, reactions, accident analyses. A fun duo.

DiveTalk is almost 200k right now. I've been following since they were under 1k. What a great channel. I bet they have more non divers following them than divers. I don't know for sure but dang. They gave away a petral 3 today on a live stream. I love the other channels on your list as well, I really enjoy your channel and think you deserve a lot more followers.

Great list! Thank you! Love Gus and Woody - their energy together is great. Love James from Divers Ready too. It’s the first channel I check when I want to know something about gear or anything really!

The only channel that beats everything else to me when you try to improve your diving is FlowState Divers - Master Series. It's leagues above anything else I've seen

Thanks, I like these channels as well (although the pancake one was new to me) and I LOVE Woody and Gus. Here's another one you might like, it is Jill Heinerth's channel: kzbin.info/door/naEMf9rt7iXwfY8fg6V6AQ. She has some great stories from the field as an explorer.

I don't think Mark is at Simply Scuba any more. He's got his own channel now. Divers Ready James is British (but Americanized. 😉) I like Achim a lot. Typical direct speaking German, and actually quite funny. Do you know he scuba dived the English Channel? I mean, England to France! And you're definitely going to hell for insulting Alec. 😄 I watched every single one of his videos when I first started diving. He's definitely old school, but still a great source of knowledge for new divers. Lake Hickory Scuba? I unsubscribed when I discovered he spearfishes on scuba.😡

Simply Scuba (and the YT channel) closed down because of covid, so Mark posted on his own channel safe diving. Now, Simply Scuba is back in business under new management, and Mark is back as well with daily vids. Actually, the gear reviews are okay, but what I like them most for is the in-depth information about all kind of scuba related topics.
