Thank you so much for putting all these videos up. I tore the meniscus in both knees after a hike 2 years ago and it lead to right knee needing a surgical repair 4 weeks ago. Each time I am on crutches (3rd time now - partial, and finally complete root tear), I go through the a rehab program but still couldn’t get knees back to my normal. I realised now I haven’t any glute muscles. I was doing clamshells with my quads! I’ve been spending the past weeks STUDYING what you’ve said in all your videos about meniscus care and recovery and it’s like finding pots of gold! Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.

Excellent, excellent video‼️ Post meniscectomy here. I am a very active, athletic person who trained her glutes for years and enjoyed perfect knee health. When I stopped doing glute training and instead began following the Starting💩Strength Method, within six short months, I had torn BOTH menisci. ☠️ Thanks to you, I now understand why. Today, I perform your knee exercises, and even though I had surgery on one knee less than 3 weeks ago and the other knee remains injured, I experience ZERO PAIN. 🎉 I simply cannot thank you enough, Dr. David ✨️

What is best position to rest your knee. Straight or bent. Or elevated. Mine hurt. Think its arthritis or muscle or tendon. Not sure. Pretty flexible but if do too much can hurt but if inactive it hurts 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did no. 4: I overstretched my knee. Any way to tell the status of the suture on my median meniscus? Knee's not swolen, sometimes warm for a few minutes. I still can bend it without any blocking. I sometimes feel my knee working inside when in stretched position

Hi Dolphin, Thank you for reaching out to us. We can’t offer personalized guidance or advice without a proper evaluation, as understanding the specifics of your injury, medical records, and history is crucial to providing the best care. What you're asking about requires a more in-depth assessment, and we wouldn’t be able to give you accurate advice without that information. The information we provide on our channel is general, so if you’d like more personalized guidance, we recommend considering a Virtual Consultation with one of our experts. It’s great that you can bend your knee without swelling or blocking, but the warmth you mentioned could be part of the healing process. We’d suggest following up with your doctor to ensure everything is progressing well and to address any concerns you may have. We do have a playlist. you might find beneficial as it has additional tips and information for knee meniscus issues. You can access it here: “Knee Meniscus Help” kzbin.info/aero/PLJVIPiFvv1mZ9Vh4eRH3UlmMeqOUtB-6a Start with one or two exercises, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not. We hope you can find some relief soon. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!

Hello do you have any wisdom or product recommendation that will assist me? I am 32 years old and surgery was not recommended by my Dr. My MRI reading is Impression: 1. There is congenital decrease in the anteroposterior diameter of the cervical spinal canal at C3-C4 and C4-C5. 2. There is mild degenerative disc disease, spondylosis, and diffuse posterior disc bulges at C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6, and C6-C7. 3. There is mild central canal spinal stenosis at C3-C4 and mild to moderate neural foraminal stenosis bilaterally. 4. There is very mild central canal spinal stenosis at C4-C5 and moderate neural foraminal stenosis bilaterally worse on the left. 5. There is moderate neural foraminal stenosis bilaterally at C5-C6. 6. There is mild right and moderate left neural foraminal stenosis at C6-C7. My Doctor's concern has been the moderate findings, but he does not recommend surgery.

My torn meniscus is inoperable. It is behind my left knee and doesn’t have enough blood flow for surgery. After months of physical therapy, I was able to straighten the surrounding muscles. I go to a local free “Bone Balance” exercise class twice a week. I did nothing to injure it, it just went bad. I will never skate again. It’s impossible to even attempt a cross over. Good luck and never lose hope.

Hey, would appreciate if you could give me a medium to get in contact with you. I just turned 18 in October and I’ve been suffering from a knee problem for months now (Meniscus/MCL region), went to different doctors but they claim it’s an inflammation and the treatment they gave hasn’t worked. Been doing my own personal research and it could be a moderate MCL tear but or a medial Meniscus Tear. would love to get a competent professional’s view on this issue. Thanks

Hey Anthony! We are so sorry to hear that you've been dealing with a meniscus or MCL issue for months now and that the treatment plans that other doctors suggested haven't been helpful. If you would like to work with us, here are your best two options on how to go about doing so: You can opt for a Virtual Consultation, you'll have the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with our doctors, where they can delve into the details of your condition and provide you with tailored guidance and coaching. This personalized approach ensures that you receive the individualized support and direction you need to make informed decisions about your health. To learn more about our Virtual Consultations Please click here: www.epmanualphysicaltherapy.com/virtual-visit/ The other alternative and most likely the best option for the knee issues that you're dealing with would be to consider investing in the "Knee Meniscus Recovery Program". This course will guide you through exercises and stretches that target key body parts that have the greatest potential to assist with the healing of the meniscus or ligament issues. You can learn more about it here: www.epmanualphysicaltherapy.com/meniscus-recovery We hope to hear to be working with you soon 🙌

It’s almost a year since the meniscus repairment, I still have fear to run. I have been using a stationery cycle.

Hi Clara, We understand your fear as it can be intimidating to get back to your regular exercise routine after surgery, especially if you have been having any sort of complications. Using a bike will be helpful if you can get your glutes to work during the exercise. If you feel you are using your quads more than your glutes while using the bike, then you will likely make your knee problem worse :-( If you are interested we have a playlist for anyone who has had knee meniscus surgery that you might find helpful. You can access it here: “Knee Meniscus Surgery Help” kzbin.info/aero/PLJVIPiFvv1maIj5ge4oSQTqVs3RzwpqwV Lastly, if you are looking for a more comprehensive approach to your recovery we offer a Knee Mensicus Recovery program. The Knee Meniscus Recovery Program is designed to help people have the best chance of avoiding unnecessary surgery, injections, or having to rely on pain medications. This course guides people through exercises and stretches that target key body parts that have the greatest potential to prevent or help with meniscus tears or trouble after meniscus surgery. To learn more please click this link: www.epmanualphysicaltherapy.com/meniscus-recovery We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!
