Yeah, the contrast stitching on jeans is definitely an issue. I've had difficulty finding dark wash jeans with matching stitching. I keep an eye out for a good pair every time I go out!

Her channel seems to target working class males (hourly wages or white collar salary workers) even though she touts herself as a fashion consultant to famous actors. But all of the imagery she presents looks like metrosexual fashion pushed by non-straight males who are clothing designers. Fall is different in New England than it is in So Cal. Many in the northern part of the USA already face colder temps. Her fashion tips would mean feeling cold while outside.

Obvious, there are always going to be exceptionally hot and exceptionally cold parts of the earth. Basically everything in this list is too warm for me to wear here in SoCal. But this video wasn't custom-made for me; it was made for a general audience who can take her advice or leave it. And most of her imagery does not look "metrosexual"; check your own subjective biases before assuming your sense of what's masculine or straight aligns with the perceptions of the general population.

Massive respect for your know how and ability to help guys who really have no idea get to a relatively decent standard of smartness and accessibility but... (sorry there's a but...) God those looks were boring. The epitome of casual good taste but where one will end up looking the same as everyone else and totally boring. The boots were the only thing I reckon added a bit of zing and was good to see you recommend more colours than the usual blue, grey, brown and white. Do chore jackets look good? I don't personally think do. And that open shirt over a t shirt is surely old hat. Wouldn't a sports jacket (they've stood the test of time as they flatter a mans physique) look more interesting than a chore jacket? And a lot of different things can be done underneath like a roll neck. I guarantee that would look better and more individual than many of the combinations you showed. And another individual and interesting look has just occurred to me. How about a fair isle jumper underneath a textured wool sports jacket for a kind of Scottish or Irish country look? I can just imagine Costner or one of your celebrity clients in that! I've just thought of that myself now and made myself excited. I must get myself a fair isle sweater now! Anyway thanks for the videos and we can all hace different opinions! 👍

Usually different fabric. Chinos are more often pleated and have more of a taper where as trousers are a bit more relaxed. Still, trousers are considered more formal than chinos. Think of chinos as the business casual jeans of the world.

Ashley, you should know that cuffing jeans leads to frayed creases over time. At least advocate to do it with less expensive jeans. Also, tonal stitching on jeans actually gives off more of a cheap vibe than contrast stitching.

Not a fan of corduroy. It is a heavy somewhat scratchy unpleasant fabric that makes rubbing noises when you move. If you want to look like an old stodgy college professor, wear a corduroy blazer or pants. Lastly, corduroy is for old fat white guys and has limited appeal.
