Jehovah witness believe that as long as you are not a true born again believer of Jesus/Messiah you are not a Jehovah witness and not a true baptized Christian unless you got baptized under the name of the watchtower Bible track society and not in the name of Jesus or in the name of the father son and holy spirit and there god is 8 men that is higher than God the Father

Hi everyone. I believe it is important to remember that if we are ever presented with an opportunity to speak the truth to a Jehovah Witness, that we do so with an abundance of love. Our points should never be made with pride and arrogance. The true reason for speaking to them would not be an 'I'm right, you're wrong' situation, but to spread the word of God. Even if they assume a defensive position, which is very possible, you remain calm and exhibit love and peace. The enemy would surely try to create an environment of animosity to disrupt the message. So, be guarded. God bless you all.

They knocked on my door today. Could not answer my questions. Became irritated because I knew my Bible well. The saddest thing about the whole encounter is how hard they believe they have to work for salvation. The man said to me it is their "Obligation" to spread the gospel. I told him that it's a privilege for me to share the goodness of God.

@Mark A privilege can't be an obligation. An obligation is something you have to do, not something you want to do. The quedtions they could not answer. Why are only 144 000 going to heaven? Why do they think/believe the 144 000 are Jehovahs Witness when the Bible clearly says that they are 12 000 from each tribes of Israel. They didn't want to speak about the New Testament except for Revelations, I found that strange. The Bible says we are saved by grace. We do good because we love God and want to please Him. I showed them scripture. They did not believe what's in the Bible. I also found it strange that they came with Bibles, didn't want to open them, but instead asked me to show them scripture in my Bible.

@Sharlz Either they weren't JWs or there are some holes in your story. JWs go door to door to read from the bible and to share scriptures. What they don't do is argue at the door. By your attitude, it seems you were just trying to argue. Am I wrong? Which is different from reasoning. You asked about the 144,000 and that's found in Revelation, which is why they were going there. We are not saved by grace alone. The scriptures in Romans and Galatians are talking about works of the Law. We are no longer under the Law. So Paul was telling them that those works will not save. But notice Ja. 2:17-26 - Faith without works is dead. And gives examples of Abraham and Rahab. The bible is like a conversation. We have to listen to the full conversation, otherwise we would be unbalanced. So you're right that we do good because we love God. That is exactly what James is saying. First we put faith in God because we love him and believe him. That faith produces good works - our actions, out attitude, our desires, our behavior, our beliefs all befit our faith. Jesus explained that. Mt. 16:27 - For the Son of man is to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will repay each one according to his behavior (kjv says WORKS). Jo. 3:19-21 - Now this is the basis for judgment: that the light has come into the world, but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked. For whoever practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, so that his WORKS may not be reproved. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that his WORKS may be made manifest as having been done in harmony with God.” What does your faith produce? What do the religions produce? Jesus told us about that at Mt. 7:13-23. We would know the true religion/Christian based on their fruits or actions. A good tree produces fine fruit and a rotten tree produces worthless fruit. So, look at the church/person. Do they join in and support killing their own brothers in man's greedy wars? Do they condone or allow immorality and homosexuality and sex abusers? Do they participate and join in violent protests? Do they get involved in, support or run for politics? Do they infuse paganism into their worship and celebrations? Those are rotten fruits. 1 Cor. 6:9,10 is a list of what people might do and if so, they lose out on salvation.

Thank you…yes, it is clear. I shared with two witnesses this morning and Holy Spirit gave me His right words to share with them. It so important that we have His word hidden in our hearts. Everything they shared with me, the Lord’s truth about it welled up in my heart. I prayed that what I shared with them will not return void but accomplish God’s will in their lives.

@@TaylorC-bs2us Read John 12:45 and 14:7-9. Christ declares that seeing Him = seeing God. Paul talks about this also. In Romans 10:13. Paul cites Joel 2:32, a passage about Yahweh, and he directly applies and attributes it to Christ - thus calling Christ GOD. Anyone can look this up on their own very easily. Honest readers understand that that is _precisely_ what Paul is declaring there. In verses 9, 12, and 13, "Lord" is a translation of the Greek word kyrios, and verse 9 clearly associates "Lord" with Jesus. The same association continues in verses 12 and 13. However - Verse 13 is a quote of Joel 2:32, where the Hebrew text clearly shows Yahweh. This means that Jesus is the "Lord" in verse 12 who is called upon, and in verse 13 Paul connects this "Lord" (Jesus) with Joel 2:32's Yahweh. This shows that Jesus is truly the God of the Old Testament (Yahweh).

Spiritual death is that of separation from God. The term "eternal death"is the fate that awaits all people who ultimately reject God, reject the gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ, and remain in their sin and disobedience. Physical death is a one-time experience. Eternal death, on the other hand, is everlasting. It is a death that continues through eternity, a spiritual death that is experienced on a continual basis. Just as spiritual life, by grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9) is everlasting life, eternal death (separation from God) is never-ending.

YHWA was the original text written in the bible. It was removed from the scripture during translation. YHWA is written without the vowels. If you put the vowels in you get Gods name. Lord and creator are just titles

I’m not religious, nor do I personally believe in god. So I am not defending Jehovah Witnesses specifically. I grew up in and around JW, catholic, and Christian churches. So I have a bit of knowledge on all of them to different degrees. I will say that the corrections I’m going to go through were my personal experiences and what I was told in Bible studies. First in for most Jehovah’s Witnesses are simply another denomination of Christian. Whether or not you feel their beliefs are correct or incorrect is really personal opinion. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe that Jehovah is the only name that God can be called. They do use words like father Lord and God when referring to God. In fact almost every prayer I’ve ever heard them say start with the words Heavenly Father. I’ve never heard of Jehovah’s Witnesses believing Jesus was any other being or an Angel reincarnated. As far as I can remember they believed that Jesus was God‘s son and his own being all together. They did reject the idea of the holy trinity. They believe that God and Jesus were there own beings. Personally I always thought that the idea of of God sacrificing himself, to himself, too appease the rules that he invented was a little odd and kind of made the holy trinity seem far fetched. I personally do not remember what they believe happened directly after Jesus‘s resurrection but that’s really just my personal gap. They also don’t believe that God is a force. They do think of him as a conscious spirit or being. They do believe that Jesus will rule on earth as a paradise for the believers. They do also believe that 144,000 people will go to heaven just serve god. Because they see God and Jesus as two separate beings those two beliefs wouldn’t contradict him selves. Again this is just how it was talk to me I have family who are Jehovah’s Witnesses and I spent a lot of time around that church as I also did with the Christian church in the Catholic Church. I definitely am not an authority on any of these but if somebody with experience there were some things that were mentioned in your video that I felt were incorrect or at the very least one of us had a misunderstanding.

He is talking about the obedience and behaviour of individuals. All smaller groups on the fringe of Christainity ignore what Jesus is saying and try to use these verses to justify their claim that THEY ALONE are the one true church. The trouble is they all contradict each other. The size of a denomination is not a factor here, and neither is the time it has existed. Using your logic the entire early church would have been rejected by Jesus simply on the grounds that they did not appear in the 19th centrury! And think about it, even among the small group of Jesus 12 disciples you can see at least one of them did not obey the gospel and proved himself to be an "evildoer". How does your theory of size fit in with that? You WOULD have had a valid point if you had said that the larger the membership the more INDIVIDUALS are likely to be rejected. Let scripture say what it says, not what you want it to say.

Your great grandmother is correct in stating that only a few will be saved. Considering how many ppl have been born since the beginning of time, only a few will be saved. Even many who profess to be Christians are not saved bc they were not authentic followers of Christ. If your g.gma believes the way The JW's I've spoken to believe: Then what she meant is that, well.... #1) only those who are "Jehova's witness" (as in; adhere to the teachings of the watch tower org.,) will be saved from eternal damnation. & only a very few of THOSE individuals pwill be welcomed into Heaven, and the rest of the JW's will live for eternity on Earth. But not to worry, they say, bc the Earth will be restored to its original condition (b4 Adam & Eve ate from the forbidden tree) for all of eternity. I was best friends with a JW in my youth that explained to me: "No, not 'Jehovahs witness' meaning that's the title of our doctrine, "Jehova's Witness" as in "I am a witness of Jehova". That makes sense, but we non-JW's see it as a doctrine title to differentiate. I guess we could call them the Watch tower religion" ???. At any rate: Scripture, however, says "Whosoever..." and also provides all the instruction& content we need so that we are not led astray by any false doctrine. There's SO much JW doctrine that makes sense, but there's alot that doesn't as well.

The last time JW's came to my door, I took a different approach. Rather than debating with them about all the various doctrines, I pointed out that they base their hope of eternal life on HAVING all the right doctrines (in their view), which is futile. The root problem with the world is not that people joined the wrong religion and believed the wrong religious doctrines. The root problem is SIN and the only solution is God's mercy attainable by way of Jesus crucifixion. Learning and studying good doctrine is important but is not the prerequisite to salvation. We as evangelicals also need to understand that we are not saved because we joined the right church with all the right teachings. We are saved because of God's mercy. This is what you should focus on when a JW comes to your door.

When travelers entered a community they would go to someone's house and be given overnight accommodation from total strangers. Now people don't trust strangers coming to their door and unfortunately some people don't want to be bothered with 'religion ' as they call it. @@td315 JW's vehemently opposed doctrines of mainstream Christianity such as the deity of Jesus and the trinity. They say that anyone who follows or preaches these things are false teachers. To become true followers of God you have to reject these teachings and embrace their doctrines. I'll say again that their hope of eternal life is based on the idea that they have all the right teachings. This is in addition to converting people to their religion.

I once had a jehovahs witness lady and her 10-year-old daughter come to my door I would never slam the door on anyone as I'm firm in my faith in Jesus I'm not afraid of debate...so this lady asked me what God's name was my response was " HIS NAME IS JESUS ".and the ladies daughter became angrier than the mother...and tried to correct me...I will never forget the daughter's response and her angry facial expressions...the Bible says you will know them by their fruits!

Jehovah’s name will be declared again. He loves humanity and so does Jesus Christ our King, thanks to the sacrifice Jesus made we have the opportunity for a better life a second chance. We all have the option to make our own decisions you can either listen or not. Jehovah gave us the freedom to make our own decisions. He loves us and will always be there when we call up on his name in the name of Jesus Christ only because like Jesus said only through Jesús we can reach Jehovah our Heavenly Father. Jesus will soon rule the earth. Just know both Jehovah and Jesus will love humanity until infinite time and they will always be here for us. We have the freedom to believe in the truth or not. I received the book from JW that knock my door about 40 years ago several time. The book I read got my attention from beginning of this story of JW is that Jesus is second Adam that came to earth. I stop right there and called my mother who read the Bible daily and had Bible study with people from Christian church. My mother and I talked pretty long time and I was right because this is not true information. It make me think that Jesus is not God at all. I throw the book away and never want to see that book again but I tried to show that the scripture in revelation, but they just smile and realize that I will never change my faith with God. Funny thing, I came to Christ ,and thru His will, because Jehovah Witnesses prompted me to really start reading the Bible. (Never really had...only verses here and there.) God truly changed my life during this time. They would come once a week and we would only discuss OT books as I had a little background and knew that their belief of Christ was not on point. This is also why I commit myself to donate full bibles to others because the OT is what truly opened my eyes to the gospel. I am eternally grateful that they came a-knocking during this season in my life.

You should REALLY be careful on your teachings, especially when you are trying to debunk and dissuade people on something that you clearly have very little knowledge and understanding of. Why are you concerned with another religion anyway and trying to discourage others from? Should you not teach on what you actually know and are familiar with it? At the end of the day, when everything hits the fan, and we are clearly well on our way..the Bible says at Eze 25:17, that they will have to know that I am Jehovah. People will make their own decisions, and will have to suffer the consequences, it would be wise not to be a stumbling block based on incorrect teachings. 1. Jehovah is a NAME. The "names" you mentioned were only TITLES. - he can be referenced under many titles - like you can be referenced as "husband, son, brother" etc.. But none of those are your NAME.. so, you are incorrect in this statement. 2. Jesus himself said at John 6:38 that he came to do not his will, but the will of Him that sent him. If they were one in the same, would not they have the same will? John 14:28, Jesus himself says the Father is greater than him. If they are equal, how can one be greater than the other(s)- and it be plainly acknowledged by one who is to be apart of this. 3. Are you simply going to skip past Col 1:15, where it states he(Jesus) was the first born of all CREATION? Meaning he was created by a Creator.. And since God has always been, who clearly is that Creator? Also regarding Jesus not being a mere man, since he was able to perform miracles, Acts 5:12 states the apostles also performed many signs and wonders - yet they were men, who had been given the power to do so by God, just as Jesus was. 4. You are very incorrect with this statement. As they do not teach that. He allowed himself to be seen so that there would be a basis for faith as everyone clearly knew that he had died, and him being seen proved he had been raised up. 5. Lu 11:13 the Father will give Holy Spirit to those asking. How can God give a person? 6. Again, a completely inaccurate statement, as they do not believe in hell at all. 7. So what will happen to the earth if everyone goes to Heaven? Isa 45:18 says he created to be inhabited - you said "I believe the 144,000" You can not try and dissuade people, based off of what YOU personally think or believe. What does the Bible say? John 10:16 says there are other sheep that are not of this fold, so there is the distinction.

My point was that if someone knows very little about a certain religion or teaching, it is best that they not try and dissuade someone else. If a person is looking into the religion and they can't reconcile certain aspects (as you yourself mentioned in your post) then that is completely their decision. @@Des7iny7 The Tetragammaton, the Hebrew name for God, YHWY, was translated to English in the 1500's, not by Jehovah's Witnesses. It is God's name in English and appeared over 7,000 times in the Hebrew scriptures. When Jesus and the Apostles read from or quoted from the scrolls, they would've read God's name just as it was in the Hebrew scriptures. Most Bible translations have replaced YHWH with titles like Lord or God instead of using God's name. You can see the hipocracy when translations like the King James Version, used to have Jehovah in at least 3 verses, one of which was Psalms 83:18, but in their newer versions, they have replaced the name with a title. A false teaching that had crept into the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees even before Jesus time was that God's name was too holy to use, so when reading aloud, they would substitute titles for God's name instead of reading JEHOVAH. This false teaching also crept into the Christian teaching which explains why many of the available Greek manuscripts have titles instead of God's name. However, there are fragments of older Greek manuscripts which have the Tetragrammaton in these key verses where Jesus or the apostles were quoting from the Hebrew scriptures, so it is obvious the original Bible manuscripts did have God's name, Jehovah, in the Christian Greek scriptures. How did Jesus feel about that false teaching mentioned above? He told his followers at Matthew 6:9-10 to pray for God's name to be sanctified. That was the first thing he taught us to pray for. Also, in a prayer to his Father at John 17:6 he says "I have made your name manifest to the men whom you gave me...." and in verses 25-26 he says "Righteous Father, the world has, indeed, not come to know you, but I know you, and these have come to know that you sent me. I have made your name known and will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them." Obviously, Jesus wanted us to know his God's name, his Father's name. That name in English is Jehovah.

samuel Jones the reason why Acts 8:37 is omitted from the New World Translation - and from other translations - is that the more reliable and earlier versions do not contain this verse, which makes it likely that it was added by other translators. On top of that, Acts 8:37 does not add anything much to the account of the Ethiopian getting baptized- it's just more exposition. I've been going to their meetings as a child and the last four years have been doing bible studies. I haven't gone through this whole video but after the first few "false teachings" , this is not what we have covered. I wonder if the youtuber has spoken to a JW . Fyi I was raised Catholic but I like the way JWs use the bible more for their teachings. I also read the bible quite a bit. Jehovah, says many times that one should not put anyone else first but him. To not commit idolatry. Jesus never claimed to be God. He cleared states he was sent by his father. Just read the Bible for yourself

I used to study with the JWs long long ago but was never accepted bc I asked too many questions & challenged them on numerous occasions. Thus, I was never offered to join their fellowship. They drove me crazy enough, so I certainly did not need to be a member. I found them to be the cruelest people I’d ever met. When they decided they did not like you nor want you, the entire congregation gave you mean, cruel looks.. it was just the strangest I’ve ever seen people behave. When I decided to never return, I spent 2 or 3 years investigating them. What I found was horrendous at best-the teachings, the way they controlled lives, and dictated everything about their lives. I was so thankful to almighty Yahweh that they never accepted me. Whew 😅

@@paulajay473 First off, I am not a liar. The treatment I received was cold 🥶 including facial expressions, indifferent, plus anger.. and I was shocked. That was in my hometown and in South Carolina. I’m my hometown, upon their first visit, they even brought an evil spirit into my home, and it became so bad that I contacted ministers of all church affiliations including a priest.. nobody could help me .. nobody not even the Overseer who said that this can happen.. I feared for my life bc I even became quite ill and got hardly any sleep at all. I begged Jehovah for help but I continued to be affected by this craziness. Finally, after years of staying away from the JWs the spirit finally left me alone. So help me God, this was my experience & it was horrifying at best. I’ve talked with many others who’ve experienced this same situation. As God is my witness, this is the truth including how cold and distant they were to me, and finally the very nice overseer’s mean wife sat me Down in SC with another lady and told me off to my face .. said that I was not worth it, would never make it, and would never be accepted! She put no love into it at all.. just hateful. You do not have to believe me, but if I told this story differently, then I Would be a liar !

I like your teaching. It is good to refute false doctrine. I became involved with the JW's in 1973 and remember their teaching then that "even though no one can know the day or the hour. you can know the month and the year" of Christ's return. That month? October. The year? 1975. I never 'joined' but I did study to see firsthand what they believed. There were a lot of disappointed JW's when Jesus missed his appointment and the month/year went by. One of my favorite sccriptures is John 1:3. It is worded almost in legal terms. It says by Jesus all things were created and without him nothing was created that was created. It leaves no room for any other interpretation. Jesus was NOT created! (Edit) Also, when reading John 1:1, the English follows the Greek word for word until the last where it says "and the Word was God". The Greek reads, "and God was the Word"

Hi Allen, just want to share... I had a JW girlfriend when I was in college. I was not a Christian that time, I did a lot of things that I'm not proud of and she tried to change me according to their beliefs, I'm a musician and no matter how hard I try the relationship was not working at all. Now after several years, I'm married to a Christian woman that God blessed me with. I play at Church and I'm so much happier and grateful for what God has done and saved me from. Where do you see mentioned Jesus, I literally have no clue! The first few verses clearly states that Wisdom is speaking (which is personified in the book of Proverbs, that’s why they are called Proverbs in the first place), not Jesus. And there is the correlation: “The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬ Please stop using references to Scripture that are given to you by the watchtower and actually start reading and meditating on the Bible yourself. It will help you a lot to see things clearly. If you actually bother to read or listen to testimonies of people who were JW and now are evangelical christians, you will see they all left after starting thinking themselves and asking questions about the teachings to which your elders didn’t or couldn’t give an answer. And of course the shun them for that. My advice is to pray to God before you read your Bible, and ask Him to help you understand it because He is the author and He is the one who can give you understanding!

Why will Jehovah God, the Almighty one, forgive words against Himself but not against his impersonal force? All logic lost here. And Acts chapter 5 clearly stated that the Holy Spirit is God. Again, how you ignore this is beyond me. Here's just one that I found most intriguing Robert. 🔘 4 - Jesus' resurrection was a spiritual resurrection. That's true, and the scriptures prove it. ▪︎ 1 Pe. 3:18 - He was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit. ▪︎ 1 Ti. 3:16 - He was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit But heres the intriguing part - Parr says Jesus was resurrected in and continues to have a physical (fleshly) body. BUT in his video refuting the Mormons, he specifically says that God is a spirit and not flesh. Reminds me of this verse. Eph. 4:14 - ...tossed about as by waves and carried here and there by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in deceptive schemes. He is definitely wishy-washy.

Robert, in regards to Mark's post, the phrase "in the Spirit" doesn't mean "a spirit". The apostle John was “in the spirit” in Revelation 1:10. So - Are we to assume that John lost his body and became a spirit? Of course not - That idea is ridiculous. Romans 8:9 tells us that the whole congregation was “in the spirit.” Does this mean that the whole congregation lost their bodies and be­came spirits? No, of course not - that idea is ridiculous. Jesus was made alive in the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:11 says this: "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you." Also, in Luke 24, Jesus Himself appeared in the midst of his believers. Verse 37 records, “But they were startled and frightened and thought they were seeing “A SPIRIT” (which is JW belief). Jesus then said to them in verse 39, “See My hands and My feet that it is I MYSELF; touch me and see, for a SPIRIT DOES NOT HAVE FLESH AND BONES as you see that I HAVE” (emphasis mine). Notice also, in Luke 24:42,43 that the risen Jesus proceeded to ask for something to eat. “And he took and ate it in their sight.” Ask yourself this question: _WHY_ would a "spirit creature" do that?

I attended highschool for two years in Massachusetts and i met a really good friend who was a Jahevoh's witness i witnessed to her along with my pastor and she came to me said she had a dream she escaped a burning house i lost contact with her after moving back to my home state of New York City. 6. Hell The word he’ll is obviously found in many Bible translations. In the same verses, other translations say “the grave”, “the world of the dead”, and so forth. They do not go on in some other form, as they no longer have any thoughts. Ezekiel 18:4 “The soul that is sinning - it itself will die.” Would good people go to hell is that’s punishment from God? Of course not. But Job prayed at Job 14:13 Who will grant me this, that thou mayst protect me in hell, and hide me till thu wrath pass, and appoint me a time when thou whilst remember me?” God called Job “a man blameless and upright, so he would not go to hell if it was a place of torment. Acts 2:25-27 in the KJ version says “Davis speaketh concerning him (Jesus).... because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell...” this implies that Jesus was in hell after his death, but if he’ll were a fiery place of torment, Jesus would not have been there. However, if using the original Greek words here instead of hell, we would see that hell is the common grave. Revelation 20:13, 14 “The sea fave up the dead that were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them.... and death amd he’ll were cast into the lake of fire.” According to those who teach hell is a fiery place of eternal torment, hell would never give people back. Also, they use “the lake of fire” as another way of saying “hell”, but how could hell be thrown into the lake of fire if it was the same thing?

Then Michael is reffered to as one of the chief princes in Daniel 8, one of ..... meaning they're other princes like him. It is consistent with other ancient writing like Enoch 1 which the apostle Jude quoted that shows that they're are 7 princes in heaven also consistent with revelation 16 where the 7 angels that stand before God are mentioned.

The original 66 books of the Bible Canon all harmonize. No contradictions, confusion or spurious texts. 2) The Book of Enoch is an apocryphal and pseudepigraphic text meaning it is "falsely" ascribed to Enoch. Any reputable scholar or theologian will admit this fact... (Even Wikipedia admits this). Must also be understood that the JWs have had the Bible retranslated into the New World Translation to support their views since the Bible as written doesn't support them at all. Their book has removed sentences, changed, replaced words and added words to existing sentences to change the context of those sentences into something else that might be similar in meaning but not exact as Greek wording does. And their " scholars " added the indiffinate article " a " to John 1 to mean " a god " which supports their teaching that Jesus was another god. In Greek there in no indiffinate article " a ". There is a diffenant article " The " but not " a ". That addition of " a " to Scripture is arbitrarily included to make Jesus into something they want you to believe. Further Charles Tase Russel didn't believe the Bible as it didn't support his theology. His 7 books Study In Scripture is required reading for his group. Since he's done the " reading" of the Bible for you you don't need to read it yourself. I don't believe they are permitted to read anything unless it's approved by the group. You can't read Shakespeare, The Jungle Book, Charlotte's Web or even Bambi. For JWs it's all about control. You're not permitted to think on your own. Step outside their circle and you get shunned and everyone you know there treat you like you don't exist. Isolation is one of their tools to bring you back into line.

I was talking to a young lady and she wanted me to convert to a Jehovah's witness. I told her to look at the moon and when she sees a cow jumping over the moon I would convert and leave Jesus.

Thank you for this video. My best friend of 27 years went back to JW after being disfellowshipped. She doesn't talk to me much anymore. It's so sad what they do to people. I haven't met one that is joyful. God bless.

Tracy - What's "interesting" is that JW aren't supposed to come to places like this. The JW "leaders" have stated this in writing. This means that any JW you see posting here is in willful, deliberate, defiance of and disobedience to the JW "leaders". "Have No Dealings With Apostates" from Watchtower, 3/15/1986, pages 12-14 “Do Not Be Quickly Shaken From Your Reason” Have No Dealings With Apostates . . . “When a fellow human tells us, ‘Do not read this’ or, ‘Do not listen to that,’ we may be tempted to ignore his advice. But remember, in this case Jehovah is the One who tells us in his Word what to do. And what does he say about apostates? “Avoid them” (Romans 16:17, 18); “quit mixing in company with” them (1 Corinthians 5:11); and “never receive [them] into your homes or say a greeting to [them]” (2 John 9, 10). These are emphatic words, clear directions. If, out of curiosity, we were to read the literature of a known apostate, would that not be the same as inviting this enemy of true worship right into our home to sit down with us and relate his apostate ideas?” (Watchtower, Mar. 15, 1986, p. 13).

@@tracym9142 Yes - It IS sad (and worse). The JWs are a rigid, totalitarian system with the men on the GB at the top dictating. The length and breadth and depth of power and control they exert over the JW masses is nothing less than HUGELY disturbing.
