@@morningstar-rm8mq Actually, Gods control is a part of His overall sovereignty. Some aspects of God's sovereignty include: Authority: God has the authority to do anything he chooses in his creation. Control: God has control over all things, including the history of humans and nations. Presence: God is present with his people and throughout his creation. All-knowing: God is all-knowing and outside of time. Creator: God is responsible for the creation of everything.

I ask every calvinist this question. If the Father chooses most for hell and only died for a few people isn't it possible that you're actually called to burn? Where's the assurance in that? Right there is none so as a result you try real hard saying look at what I'm doing I must be saved while the Bible teaches that it's a gift lest any man should boast ephesians 2:8-9. Like Israel you wander with unbelief because of the potential that you actually could be called to burn. You won't make heaven because of your own unbelief. Telling people that the Father is responsible for people going to hell when really it's satan and the person's choice is switching the credit to the wrong party blaspheming the Holy Spirit that's why when the pharisees said Christ was doing miracles through satan when it really was the Holy Spirit they blasphemed the Holy Spirit. You choose heaven or hell. May you choose wisely

Truth in scripture is confirmed in the mouth of two or three witnesses (Deut 19:15 and 2cor 13:1) So in 1 Tim 2:3-4 we have a witness that it is Gods desire that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. "I will accomplish all MY desires and all My purposes shall stand" (Isaiah 46:10) So in the Devine will of God He desires all mankind be saved, and declares that all His desires He shall accomplish and all His purposes shall stand.So we can learn that from these two or three witnesses God WILL save all mankind, but this will be done by fire,spiritual fire....(1 Cor 3:15) This is judgement from God in the Lake of Fire and brimstone, spiritual fire, and judgement. "When Gods judgements are in the earth ,the people will LEARN righteousness" (Isaiah 26:9) I believe Gods word.

Faith alone is certainly incorrect as the Word says we are justified by WORKS and NOT faith alone. Pretty clear. Scripture alone is false if you twist the Word to give liberty to continue to commit sin. Catchy though. Doesn’t sound like any of them are really “alone”

You forgot one. The pagan's civil government is contrary to the will of God and a rejection of the words of Moses and Isaiah. The perverse misunderstanding of Romans 13 has turned it upside down and made the apostle say the exact opposite of what he said. If you think this statement is not true then please explain why that same Roman government cut the apostle's head off.

"Calvinism" is the true gospel. God is in control yet gives you a choice. God convinces the ones He chose, of their need of forgiveness and saves them. The ones God did not choose reject God on their own, freely choosing their own way and sealing their own fate. If you accuse God of some kind of unrighteousness because He desires a person's repentance, yet doesn't bring it about, you are mistaken. If you believe that God tries to save a person but is unable, you are mistaken. We cannot understand every aspect of God Almighty, if you believe you can, you are mistaken. He dies what He likes to do and we must simply bow. If it is your understanding that my belief in my being chosen brings prideful arrogance, you are mistaken. We are undeserving of anything good from the hand of God. It is boasting to say "I chose God and you did not." If you believe I follow Calvin, you are mistaken.
@n9wff7 сағат бұрын
Does not God's word quote that He calls ALL men to repentance? Or Jesus saying if ANY man comes after me, they must deny themselves, take up their cross and follow Me? Did Jesus die just for the elect or for all mankind? If so, then God created some for salvation while the rest He gave over the eternal damnation. This is predestination, the very argument of Calvinism.

“I have my own private opinion that there is no such thing as preaching Christ and Him crucified, unless we preach what nowadays is called Calvinism. It is a nickname to call it Calvinism; Calvinism is the gospel, and nothing else. I do not believe we can preach the gospel, if we do not preach justification by faith, without works; nor unless we preach the sovereignty of God in His dispensation of grace; nor unless we exalt the electing, unchangeable, eternal, immutable, conquering love of Jehovah; nor do I think we can preach the gospel, unless we base it upon the special and particular redemption of His elect and chosen people which Christ wrought out upon the cross; nor can I comprehend a gospel which lets saints fall away after they are called, and suffers the children of God to be burned in the fires of damnation after having once believed in Jesus. Such a gospel I abhor.” - Charles Spurgeon

This video talks trash. It is influenced by calvinism. Christ died for all people but not everyone is saved. Hence this video made an error that Christ paid the debt of sin in full. Jesus did not die for believers alone. He died for all men - babies, children, sane adults, insane adults. But not everyone is saved. Even believers who live a lawless life will be condemned even if they preached in Jesus's name and worked miracles in Jesus's name. When Jesus said "it is finished" and gave up his spirit, the writer did not mean Jesus Christ has finished the work of salvation for each and everyone one such that there is nothing left for the man to do. Jesus meant that he had finished/ fulfilled all the prophesies written about him which he must do while he was in the world. The writer did not mean Jesus had finished the work of salvation of a liar such that this liar can straight away go to heaven. Salvation is given by the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. Titus 3:5 says, he saved us, not because of the works we have done in righteousness, but according to his own mercy. Without faith, there is no basis to love. But without love, faith alone is dead. Mercy is given out of love. Jesus said, those who loves him, obeys him but those who disobeys him, does not love him. Because Jesus was obedient unto death, God made him the judge so that he may show mercy and give salvation to whomever he is pleased with. Jesus is pleased with those who loves him and obeys him. Obedience means doing good work of charity because they love Jesus and his teachings.

With all love and respect,what did the man say that was wrong? Does anything he said affect one's salvation? I agree with your points but what is so different from what you're saying and what he said? Just curious. GOD bless.
@justthink89525 күн бұрын
I didn't watch the whole video. I skipped some part. He said Christ has finished the work of our salvation and if we add anything more to his work, then we will be saying Christ's sacrifice was not enough to pay for our sins. This is false because Christ died for all people while not everyone is saved. This means Jesus did not pay the debt of all people. The video implied that Christ's sacrifice is able to pay for all the sins. If this were true, then the whole world should have been saved by default, which is not true. Hence the idea that Christ has paid the debt of sin in full is not correct. If the debt of sin is paid in full, then there is no point of asking for forgiveness of our sins. There is no room for forgiveness when the debt of sin is paid in full. Also, where is Grace when the debt of sin is paid in full? There is no need of grace. Or is he saying that it is God's grace in sending Jesus to die for the world such that Jesus's blood has paid the debt of sin in full? The ideas such as Christ paying the debt of sin, Christ forgiving sin, God's grace, Christ's mercy etc are not harmonious. Our sins are forgiven by Jesus Christ. He is the one who cleanses us of the stains of sin. We are washed clean of our imperfection. Hence, the doctrine of imputation is wrong. The stains of our sins are not covered by Christ's righteousness but we are washed clean. We are sanctified by the power of Jesus Christ. Imputation of Christ's righteousness amounts to sharing the divinity of Christ. We don't exchange our sins with Christ's righteousness. Christ remains righteous. We don't take anything away from him. After all, he did not owe us anything. God did not say that he will impute Christ's righteousness on us. Sanctification dies not mean covering the dirt of sin with Christ's righteousness He said legalism is a denial of the gospel of grace. The error is that he created a strawman argument. Jesus did not abolish God's commandment given in OT. Christ taught us the spirit of the OT laws. He also establish a system to govern his Church. He chose 12 men to teach and to govern his Church. Fir any government, a legal system is required for disciplining its members. God blessed the church's organization where rituals are performed. Grace is received through rituals. For example, God bless people through water baptism. Regarding Biblical authority, he gave the impression that scripture interprets itself. This is false. Men interprets scripture. It was men who declared NT books as scripture even though no book claims itself as scripture except the book of Revelation. All the 26 NT books out of 27 are written based on the opinion of men. But then opinion of men can be inspired too. Even in this age the holy spirit can inspire us. Calvinism is is a human opinion/ tradition. Calvinism is based on false interpretation of scripture by men. It is trash.

@gordiescott2470 The video said all our righteous deeds are like filthy rags if they are not done for the glory of God. The video also said legalism tries to follow the law and religious rituals to find favour of God which negates grace. The video gives the impression that if a person does good works to please God, then he don't get grace as if works is the opposite of grace. Now anything done for the glory of God is to find God's favour, right? And grace is given as God's favour, right? The concept are not presented harmoniously because it is based on TULIP without mentioning it directly. Lots of Bible verses were quoted to fit their narrative as if scripture meant what they say

@@justthink8952 Thank you again,please bare with me just a little bit. I looked up the differences between Calvinism and Arminianism and it's still a little bit confusing,so let me ask you this simple question and maybe I can get some clarity. In the position of Judas,was he destined to hell or did he choose hell by not repenting? My belief is that he had "FREEWILL" to ask for forgiveness and The GREAT GOD of HEAVEN is willing to forgive but he didn't choose that path so in essence he sealed his own fate. I'm wondering what your position is on this matter? Thanks and GOD bless.
