I’m over 50 & LOVE low rise denim! If you are in great shape, don’t listen to this. You can definitely wear it! High waisted can be so matronly.

I'm 51. It's crazy because I associate high rise with my mom (matronly) from the 70's I just remember noticing when I was a kid how the high-rise accentuated thier pooch

I think low rise is fine for those of us that hit the gym hard everyday and don’t have fat on our abs. I a thrilled to see it back. I actually think high rise jeans make thinner people look heavier. No one’s butt should be 12 inches long. Heather you would look younger and trimmer in a mid rise.

3D florals aren’t my thing either! I rarely wear dresses so florals just don’t fit my style. I do have an estée lauder make up bag with a flower attached but that’s about it. lol low rise doesn’t look good on anyone not even Britney Spears 🤷‍♀️

If you have a long torso and short legs like you high rise is good. People with shorter waists and longer legs look good in low or mid rise. That's just my opinion, and I don't think age matters when it comes to this.

I'm super short Waisted. 5'1" 106lb. Hourglass shape with a 29.5" Inseam. I've found that a 9" Rise hits me just under the belly button and a 10" is at my natural waist, but makes me look really disproportionate. A 12" Rise would almost hit my boobs I find it's super important to go and try all the different rises. And then keep a note in your phone as to which is most flattering for you

Heather, the rose 🌹 choker though, in a dark goth color like black or burgundy, that’s grunge/ punk/ Victorian goth - like Avril Lavigne - popular in the 90s ( Buffy the vampire 🧛‍♀️ slayer look) . I have 5 white dresses for the summer, I agree with you that sheer doesn’t look good on the bottom part of your body, not for me. I also think baggy on top and baggy on the bottom doesn’t do anyone any justice 🙂
