Can you advise if the power reclining models invert as much as the manual versions? I have a ten-year-old Joshua that ratchets all the way back and if you push back a little further you get three more clicks to get your feet higher than your heart.

The manual and power La-Z-Boy recliners lean back the same amount. The main difference is the locking reclining system on a manual La-Z-Boy Recliners offer 16 rocking and 3 footrest positions. This means you have a total of 48 different combinations of chair and footrest positions to choose from on a manual recliner. On the other hand, power recliners have four electronic buttons that control the position of your chair and footrest. When you press and release each button, the position of your chair or footrest will lock in position. No matter where you stop. This means power recliners give you a nearly infinite amount of locking chair and footrest combinations to choose from. Plus, some power recliners give you the option to adjust your head tilt and lumbar support.

Lazboy recliners should be made with longer footrest for tall men. Husband us 6 ft with most of his height in legs. Footrests end at mid calf for him, not good. Footrest perfect length for me but I’m only 5’2”.

OK, I'd love to have one of your recliners. I picked one out at the local Lazy Boy store yesterday and asked the sales person to write it up and take my money. Then I was told no furniture would be moved by their delivery people, so I would have to move the current furniture out of the way prior to delivery. My wife and I are elderly and have health problems, and we have no one to help us with furniture moving. So I ask if they could make an arrangement or accomodation of some kind that would allow me to make this purchase. All the manager would say is "I can't help you." He absolutely refused my request for help and let me walk out of the store. So, yes, I'd like to have one of your powered, chair and a half recliners with premium leather but it seems I will have to live without it for now. Do you have any advice for me that will help this purchase happen?

Hey Enrico, I'm sorry to hear about this issue. The delivery team should move the old furniture for you. They won't take it out of your home but should rearrange it for you. At least our delivery team in the south east does. I'd recommend calling La-Z-Boy corporate directly and see what they have to say or go to another location near you and ask if they're part of the same independent dealer. @@FurnitureAcademy OK, trust me, I want the same thing. Now, I'm in the SE too. My local store is in Metairie LA. The sales person told me they were part of the organization that owns the Covington LA store as well. So on Monday I'll call the Slidell LA store and see what they say. I am happy to pay for the additional service, but I don't know who to contact, and apparently the furniture people in Metairie don't either. I'll let you know what happens.

@@FurnitureAcademy It seems Slidell has no Lazy Boy store. Apparently the closest outside my area is Thibodaux, LA. The corporate office tells me they have no control of or delivery information for local dealerships. So it seems to me that a Lazy Boy purchase and delivery is not in the cards for me. I know I'm just an old timer, but back in the day sales people were eager to make sales happen, nowdays not so much.

@@enricofermi67 I really really hate to hear this. Here in the southeast, we have a full service delivery team. So our delivery staff will make sure that your home is the way that you want it. Even if you're just buying a recliner. The only other option I could think of is to order the furniture and hire a 3rd party to move the furniture once its delivered. I wish we could help you more Enrico!
