Your channel is criminally underrated!! Thanks for what you're doing. I've watched your audio series like 2 times already :) P.S. What do you use for your animations? They're awesome!
@akashmurthy10 ай бұрын
That's awesome! Thanks! For most of the animations it's Adobe After Effects. But for some of them, including the ones that are related to signals and filter response towards the end of the video, they were programmatically created using P5.js. Each frame rendered out as an image and then combined together into a sort of video.

thats was a great vedio , also extend this topic to adaptive filters so that we can use feedback filters and adaptive filters to create useful machines such as audio feedback destroyers etc 😍

Great video! small correction: you have a misspelled word in the "elleptic" filter
@akashmurthy10 ай бұрын
Ah damn! I didn't see that, I usually run a spell check, but that was proper noun of sort, so I just skipped it. Good spot.

Great videos, amazing channel! What I don't get, is why filters just don't change the amplitude as a multiplication with the points on the curve drawn on the EQ. Why does it have to introduce delay in the first time and go through all this recursive madness?
@akashmurthy8 ай бұрын
If you are applying gain to a signal in the time domain, you are applying gain to all frequencies. In the time domain, which is how signals are generated and processed, you cannot distinguish between different frequencies. The entire point of the delay is to selectively apply gain to different frequencies, which is what a filter is intended for.
@cescu28 ай бұрын
Ohhhh, of course, in the time domain they are all summed up. I always forget it's not just a simple sine wave. So sorry for wasting your time with a dumb question🤦♂. Amazing content btw @@akashmurthy

Thanks, I use Adobe After Effects for most of the animations. And for technical ones I use Python.
