Your kiddos are precious! I never thought of using leaves for layering on "regular" pages! Great for "boy" pages! I have 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters so I am always looking of layering embellishments for the boys since I can't do florals for them. Enjoying this series! Binge watching it on this rainy day.

I definitely love the two strips of cork paper as it looks like the photos are on a cork board & so it gives texture to the page & the photos definitely needed the fine black border to highlight them. Lookin' good!!

Terrific tips. I admit - I tend to be more compartmentalized. Stamps are for cardmaking, die cuts & stickers are for scrapbooking . I want to stop being so strict I worry the pages will all look the same.

It is definitely faster to just use stickers for scrapbooking! But I have so much fun mixing and matching my supplies 😊

You have so many Great ideas and tips! I’m currently working on a layout that is similar to yours. My main picture is landscape (6x4) and then 2 3x3 pics and 1 3x4. I spent most of the day trying to pick color paper and now trying to get the layout to come together. Any ideas! Thank you 🤗

You can turn the page sideways and do a similar design to this. tuck the 3x4 crooked overlapping the 6x4 and find your 3 point of embellishing. Hard to help without seeing but that’s my first thought. Use the ideas in this video 😊 So happy you’re enjoying!!

I don’t have any ideas cause it’s my first time , cause I do carts I want to do some thing like scrapbooking but in a book can I do that. Lollll I don’t know where to start 😊 I like your ideas it simple and easy and not to much😊

Yes you can definitely use a book! You could probably try a spiral-bound book but just make sure the pages aren’t too think so they can hold up to the photos and embellishments. Once you start adding photos and embellishments it will start expanding so just keep that in mind. Most scrapbookers use an album with page protectors that you put your pages in and once it’s full you start a new album. But photo journaling has gotten quite popular too so you can probably find some videos about using photos in more journal-style books. I’m not very familiar with that way of doing it.

Embellishing is so hard for me. Especially when I’m using a paper pack that doesn’t have a sticker sheet or the sticker sheet doesn’t match the theme of my page. I find it hard thinking of other ways to embellish. Thanks for the tips.

I hear ya! I have really missed sticker sheets. So glad Stampin Up just started offering them. Stamps and dies are more work to embellish with but love having them in my collection to customize my pages.
