Would it be lame if Guinsoo's were to be made more like Archangel's, giving attack speed over time. This'd be better for balance since it's less exponential making it 100% better for balance but I could imagine people would be against it might be less fun. The only comparable item I guess would be blue buff currently for how essential it is in its current form. I could imagine that if people miss the exponential attack speed scaling it could be made into an artifact or be made up with traits and units to still give the max attack speed fantasy.

The thing about the pass these days isnt "is it worth ten dollars", but more so that the team has tuned down the rewards we get compared to what they used to be for 10 dollars. It just feels bad at this point to buy it when you get less.

Just remove guinsoo's already. "but its fun" yea and it always has balancing issues behind it, units that NEED it (and ultimately go from worthless to best in the game)... the game always has traitss to grant units attack speed, augments, now there are charms.. just axe the item already. No one enjoys playing against a unit that after 15 seconds is standing in place moving like a spaz just dishing out a waterfall of damage anyways.

Its probably just an in the moment thing but with how Mort has spoken about this set so far, It kinda feels like it might of slightly needed more time in the oven. Certain traits just not feeling good at all, Certain units feeling far too over tuned.

I think if you make it so you can only lock in one guinsoos per unit it would make some units a bit more more balanced. With double guinsoos they rack up too much attack speed. Just make guinsoos effect a unique thing so people can’t stack them.

I basically play the syndra cass comp if I get syndras and tears early. It’s really an auto win. It’s even better if other people are playing other reroll comps. Imo it is beyond broken. I don’t even have to itemize cass it’s literally just syndra. It melts frontline so hard.

Yeah from my testing on PBE, and I played a lot, the traits are promesing and interesting, but it feels like they are overshadowed by unitstrength every time. There are some exceptions like Eldritch 10 and so on, but there should be no way, when I have a 9 Faery board, a trait that needs 2 emblems, two 4 cost, a 5 cost and lvl 9 to lose to a lvl 8 board with cassio carry.(I had such a game too here I don´t mean mords) I know it is PBE and I know it´s not gonna be the end of the world and they will balance stuff, but it feels really bad to play comps when hardforcing is just way better. And in addition that was a chasetrait. We are not talking creative traitwebs now. Like how I had a 7 Multistriker 6 Warrior game with camille carry and I lost to 4 faery Kalista carry Radiant and normal guinsiuos. So the Tl;Dr: Traits weaker than units with good items, even than some vertical. I wish you the best of luck mort. This set has a bumpy start, but from the basework I can see it evolving in one of my favourites so far. Please don´t get demoralized by stuff like cassio. You and your team made every set a blast so far so I know you will with this too. PS. sorry for bad grammar or spelling mistakes. English is not my native tongue.

Cant we make guinsoos a unique item of which you can only equip one? Seems like that would solve a lot of the problem and make its balancing easier

Mort has said he is really opposed to making items unique just to balance them. He feels that it is just a crutch hiding an underlying balance issues. Unique items should only be unique due to having two of them creating a non-balance problem.

Speaking of trait bots, Twitch feels so bad to play. Got him 3 star really early because of that augment that gives you a one cost every turn, with 3 items that should be BIS, and wow he was horrible. Missed around 30% of his casts, and even when he hit he dealt 0 dmg. Lost most fights and went bot 4. could be a skill issue, but he just felt horrible to me. Anyone else try twitch reroll? (was playing 4 hunter with hunter aug, plus 4 vanguard frontline)
