I'm always the most dressed in the room. I definitely turn heads and husbands have told their wives to get fashion advice from me. LOL. I have 6 children, 6 grand children and have been married 38 years. I still find my husband's eyes popping out of his head when I enter the room. Yes, there are times I'm in casual wear with no makeup. It's just not everyday. Am I perfect? Definitely not. Perfection is predictable which equates with boring. I have to live life for myself and not live to impress others. And that's why I dress to turn heads because I'm comfortable with myself; my brain, body and personality.

The Femme Fatale character has always been the most interesting trope to learn more about. I loved hearing about the qualities that personify her and she truly sounds like an interesting woman to be around, as well as attributing some of her qualities as well. There have been some dangerous femme fatales, like Barbara Stanwyck; highly recommend the noir film 'Double Indemnity' and 'Babyface,' and those that aren't as dangerous like Marilyn Monroe and Rita Hayworth. However, both ways as being mysterious and having that aura around you is truly captivating. I adored seeing Rita Hayworth used throughout the video, especially that one scene where she coyly says "understand what? mean what?" She is one of my favorite Old Hollywood femme fatales along with Monica Bellucci. Thank you for this beautiful inspiring video! Looking forward to your next project!

I was diagnosed with Histrionic personality disorder (and BPD but that's another story) and technically, Histrionic personality disorder means the dramatic/femme fatale disorder... I am not seducting ppl though,but I adapt the femme fatale routine into myself instead... I am a very loyal woman, that doesn't want kids,u guessed right,but still,love my partner with ALL I have and I am very sensitive... I just like to be pretty 24/7 and I think that's my choice.... I hate working schedules that will get me up before than 12 o'clock because I value beauty sleep a lot,and I don't get sun exposure to avoid getting dischromia and wrinkles.... I don't smoke,nor drink either and I am working out to keep fit...not all femme fatales are actually bad nor evil,and I think many women,just desire to be beautiful and are not the stereotypical femme fatale that will even murder her husband idol...love is above everything,but we need to balance the love amongst ourselves and others :)))

Lisa, thank you for your video. I live in a small town and i‘m very into being dressed feminine and done up at all times. I‘m always put together, well educated, speak several languages and i’m very sportive and fit. Men think i‘m stunning but women hate my guts. They only wear hoodies and a bun and no make up all the time and think i‘m stuck up when i‘m actually a good hearted person. The people i surround myself with know that but the others feel intimidated by me. It‘s ok because i have the right to feel feminine and seductive and beautiful.:) Love your content- keep doing the great work on here! 🥰😘 you are beautiful! P.S.: i‘m all about perfume- right now it‘s baccarate rouge…

Another wonderful video! I've been watching your channel since spring and I've truly found myself incorporating your advice into my everyday life, without even having to think about it. I feel more confident than ever before and people all around me are giving me more and more compliments not only on my physical appearance but on my personality too. I'm making a big move to London soon and I'm so grateful to be arriving in the city feeling so secure in my identity and having the self-respect and awareness to set strong boundaries and standards for myself and stick to them. Not to deter from all your amazing videos thus far, but I would really love to see an analysis on Lauren Bacall! She's my all time favourite femme fatale and one who I feel I can relate to more than, say, Ava Gardner or Monica Bellucci (nothing against these women ofc!). She made a deep voice, dry humour, and a boyish body incredibly sexy and I love how in her earlier films at least she was able to be intelligent and independent without rejecting men or acting like she didn't need them. Nobody did it better! Lots of love.

When you get to a point where you are married to the man who was attracted to you because this is who you are, and because of your mystery, how do you then keep that mystery when you live together? I ask because in a marriage you have to share everything with each other, and be vulnerable; sometimes he will see you without makeup on or looking your worst because maybe you feel down and so you don't dress up etc. Things like that. I'm curious as to how one keeps that mystery/femininity at all times. I'm still in my mid 20's and not married. So, I have no experience with that which is why I ask. Any thoughts from any ladies? :)
@Lisaglamour3 жыл бұрын
Of course you will share more with your partner once you are married and more comfortable with each other. But you do not share absolutely everything. It is important to keep some mystery even in a marriage, to keep the attraction and the passion alive. This is an energy ! So you can one day be more a cute princess, at one moment you will be more sexy femme fatale...etc Of course, you do not need to always dress up! You do not need to always be like this either, but it is interesting to explore different energies. And your husband will love the femme fatale energy that you will bring to him don't worry 😘 I will do a video about this if you want!

Wow I think any naturally confident woman can relate to the part about “wear what you want and don’t care what people think”. I have self esteem issues but I’ve never struggled with confidence for some reason, so if I want to wear something, I’ll wear it. Unfortunately there’s always women that’ll hate on you for being that way, but says way more about them than you. Plus, men love it, and that’s who I’m after anyways! Haha. Keep being fabulous!

Does wearing something ragged counts? Cause when i say i want to wear anything i would wear very basic clothes. Cause i dont want to be center of attention. But i still want to be confident even being like this

Many women I spoke to on a fun filled costume party during Christmas said, they are not really comfortable with pencil skirt. One woman openly admitted that she started wearing because Hollywood projected it. Also said she pretended to be so comfortable with it. But the moment she realised it's all glitz she stopped otherwise she was so comfortable in normal pant shirt.
