Between holding on to the mattress on top of us, my dad holding me with one hand and the handle.to the mattress with the other, and holding on to our dog it was a pretty easy decision. The dog ran off during the commotion. The pitch black of night after the storm made it impossible for us to see our hand in front of our faces, nevermind searching for a dog. Still, my dad looked for him while calling out to him to no avail. It wasn't until we returned the next morning when we found him completely unharmed sitting atop the rubble. It's so easy to say what you WOULD do in an emergency situation when you're not actually in it.

The tiny little monkey jumping into the lady and man's arms was just so cute 😍 I swear animals can actually understand humans and have emotions just like us. Like I have a German Shepherd dog and whenever my dad goes to work she stays in the garage like she doesn't want him to go, and when he tells her it's time to go out so he can leave, she purposely lies down in her back, rolls over and ignores him! 😍😁🤣. When I was in Africa, I was fortunate enough to pat a couple of "domesticated" cheetahs and found them to be very affectionate, tolerant and loving. Unlike tigers or lions, cheetahs PURR like cats! The mouths (and heads) of cheetahs are very small and they are more accustomed to killing small animals - not humans! Cheetahs are solitary animals who would only attack a human if they felt threatened or if they thought their cubs were being threatened.
