I had been using DJAY Pro and a Mixon 8 which were also great, but I wanted to switch to the "industry standard" layout so I'd be ready to hop on shared decks in the future. Thanks for this vid!

Hi Phil - Thank You for this video - i have not used my Flx 10 at all wedding yet - need some more practice first ! I keep hitting the effects button instead of play on the right deck Lol 😂- best piece of gear i ever purchased! I saved the setting Utility on my MacBook in the Dock permanently! Just got a case made by Magma - called the Magma Lite XL size ! It’s really nice - the pioneer case is terrible i returned it ! You guys are so Awesome in what you do

I'm not sure if somebody has mentioned it or not, but when you hold down the beat jump button to spin a jog wheel to advance a track faster, be careful not to hold down the shift button when you spin the jog wheel or you'll mess up your beat grid.

This is a controller. Everything that happens with this unit happens on the laptop. And yes, you can record a set with it, which will then be recorded onto your laptop from where you can move it to anywhere you want, including your mobile device.

nice tips! however, I'm not sure you can call a controller like the flx10 a "glorified keyboard". it has its own displays, it has a built-in audio interface with both digital to analog and analog to digital convertors, it has phono preamps, it has a standalone mixer, it has a full suite of built-in hardware effects... that's a lot of processing power for a keyboard the ddj-200 is a true glorified keyboard, but imo, the flx10 is more than that

Pioneer sucks Pioneer cnt even fix there own products I had 3 Pioneer cd burners 500. Each and I brought my Pioneer burners to get fixed and they couldn't even fix them .I will nvr buy Pioneer ever . Pioneer is garbage.

Hold Shift - Press Back on left deck. That will take you into the Utilities Menu. Rekodbox or Serato should not be running. Just power on the Controller.

This Utilities Menu will show... Master Limiter, Talkover volume, Factory Reset(Last next to Cancel), Stereo options etc.

@@zeroChannelJJ utilities menu is only for serato DJ pro and virtual DJ settings It has nothing to do with the actual hardware settings on the controller and these are completely overrided by rekordbox as well
