Street pole, light pole. Growl, my stomach is growling. Cap, a bottle has a cap. Screw a cap. Lid, Cup has a lid. For Jars. Clockwise, turn the key clockwise(adv). Counterclockwise, the opposite of clockwise. To swap, swap places to eat. Thanks for your teaching.😊
@slava1657 Жыл бұрын
Natives dont say 'screw a cap'. They say 'screw on the cap' or 'screw this cap on'. With 'on'. This example shows that this, pardon, teacher isn't a native speaker. Avoid such people on KZbin, watch only natives, don't make such silly A2 mistakes

2:10 actually “The plant is growing” is more accurate as they do not stop growing. Very few times you would say “has grown”. Instead it’s more proper to say “grew”.😊
@xenatsukuda2276 Жыл бұрын
You must have learnt American English, However in British English it's possible for if you talking with sb about the plant, and say this, it means that you planted it, ans since then it has grown, until the moment you are talking to the person. And guess what? It's mire polite to use Present perfect in some sentences. Have a pleasant day😊l hope it's balmy there for where l am it's freezing 😢

I would like to just say sth, if l may. The word " hopefully" is used when we are referring to the future, so it sounds a bit weird to use it when talking about the past. It's better to say" fortunately/ luckily the driver DIDN'T GET HURT( here is the past sentence) I live your videos. Keep up helping students. And l hope this tip helps😊😊😊😊😊❤❤
