I love weird music videos. Great idea for a countdown, John. Here are some other really weird videos: Radiohead "There There"- It mixes live action with stop motion in the weirdest way. It's pretty tame at first (much like the song), but it gets intense near the end (Thom Yorke turns into a tree at the end, and it's legitimately frightening.) Tool "Parabola"- It mixes weird imagery with religious symbolism. From the opening with the faceless men in suits to the end with the main character reaching enlightenment, it's both creepy yet awe inspiring. Modest Mouse "Satellite Skin"- I still don't know what's going on here. There's walking bird houses, some weird bald cult, I just...don't get it. Aphex Twin "Windowlicker"- I won't spoil this one.

I honestly thought Lorde's Tennis Court was fucking awesome. On the first watch, I was like "FINALLY! A MV that relates to the core lyrics without spoonfeeding the thought." I mean, they played with the lyric "Talk it out like 'yeah', yeah?" and the lighting and the front and center view created the perfect metaphor for a celebrity. It's boring, it's dark and bright at different times, and she only talks it like "yeah' like she's only telling you what you want by agreeing with you.
