Yeah the most insane parts are the details. The physics and interactions in those videos, the way the light works. Its so consistent. Really impressive and crazy that none of this was even possible just 10 years ago in 2015 let alone just 5 years ago in 2020. The progress is so incredibly fast.

As a former Broadcast News Director, as I watch these videos, I'm seeing the death of newscasts as we know it. The bad news, "talent", writers, directors, editors and graphic folks are pretty much screwed. ( looks like I retired at the right time lol) On the potential upside, since news operations won't be spending anywhere near the budgets that have today, they can use their "AI team" to once again focus on actual, "local" news, without the huge financial outlay. The biggest question I see in this scenario is: How are the advertisers go along with the whole thing? Of course, being AI, stations could do sub channels in any language, and for tailored for any age group.

the film assets for untiy look like they could be Synty assets. they are low poly models, mostly used in mobile games. they are actually quite good, and often on sale especially in humble bundles. they are great for protyping or if you are going the full low poly route. awesome video matt

I'm mainly interested in 13:47 portion of this video, where you can generate a video of the face or at least the upper body and sync it up to a music track. Of course I don't know of all the tools out there, but so far in my experience, the best one is this AI called SkyReels. I've tried it with short music tracks, and I was able to get some good lip-sync with head and body motion, but the output quality is garbage.

A solo singer singer with some realistic head/body gesture is really what I'm looking for. Most options I've tried basically move the lips with everything else being static, and even then it's not really good. That website I mentioned did a really good job, but it's extremely pixelated.

I asked AI to make up a prompt language that all LLMs can understand - here's the format: [COLOR=WHITE][MODEL=TESLA][SIT]@[TEXTURE=SHINY]#[LIGHTING=SUNNY][DIRECTION OF FRONT END=FACING CAMERA] The tags are self-explanatory so I won't go into detail. But this language AI generated for me works in EVERY image generator. Yes, it is English, but it's structured to that it minimizes hallucinations, as explained to me by the AI. Between Filmagents and OmniHuman-1, the Text To Hollywood is coming soon. Also the scripts I write, ChatGPT can throw in a prompt that describes the shot of each scene, then generate the image, then animate that image/shot with OmniHuman-1. Using dialog I acted and changed to the proper characters' voice. True 1 person shows, for independent filmmakers

Ive been disappointed with AI video and AI modeling so far. I have asked multiple models the same question "A Spinosaurus walking beside a water bank". I choose this because the Spinosaurus is a famous dinosaur with many images and models online, yet it is easy to mess up due to how iconic it is. And boy do they mess up. Most of the time they make a generic dinosaur with no sail, or they make something similar to a dimetrodon(think Spinosaurus on 4 legs). AI models have a similar issue, and the only one I have found to do it right falls apart when trying to texture it. The stuff has improved greatly in the past year so I still believe it will just keep getting better.
