The Gaia one is the least insane one. It essentially is saying that the earth's surface processes interact with one another in a way that is conducive to life as we know it, which is of course what is happening.

I completely agree, the mountain of evidence supports this. Such as trees having been proven to communicate with each other via a fungal network. Perhaps that is the physical manifestation of what is going on Edit: Spelling check.

The gaia theory reminds me of the Avatar movie, in fact it was a major plot point that the life was all connected.

*at **04:47** i have to make an even MUCH MORE IMPORTANT note!!!* *you COMPLETELY missunderstood the hollow earth thing!!!!* what we're looking at, is the space; what we're walking at, is the outer shell/surface; just the theory says we could also walk on the other side of the shell, where the Arianni would live, some white folks that hitler believed in. and not only him. also Admiral Byrd. that theory might even turn out to be real, it is making some really good points that are NOT contrary to science. + it might be that ALL moons are hollow; some maths are done about this, especially about luna, deimos & phobos.

Eratosthenes never proved that the Earth is round, which have been proven much later. What he proved was that: IF the Earth is round AND the distance Earth-Sun is far enough for all the sunrays hiting the Earth to be regarded as paralled THEN the circumference would be about 250 000 stades. The humans did not yet know that the Earth is round, it was an hypothesis among others But you can take the flat earth hypothesis instead (for fun). You would then easily find the distance Earth-Sun by instance. Good video btw! :)

Only two theories that I partially believe in are: Hollow earth - not in a way that we live inside the planet, and all that nonsense, however that there are empty spaces and large unexplored cave systems within our planet. Expanding earth - it does make sense if we look on how our planet behaves, as an example there are multiple factors that suggest gravity was smaller millions of years ago on our planet which caused Gigantism. Everything was massive, from flora to fauna. Earth's molten core is in constant reaction, every chemical reaction creates all types of slag and other collateral components which are being pushed out away from central core. Add on top of it constant bombardment by space dust and meteors which happens all the time. All this stuff doesn't simply go away, it accumulates and expands. Hence the result of slow but steady expansion both from within and outside.

The danger of not taking claims of hollow earth seriously have been disastrous many times as sink holes have swallowed large sections of the surface.

The Expanding Earth and Hollow Earth hypothesis actually make the most sense. Plate tectonics actually has quite a few flaws in it.

@slinkerdeer7 жыл бұрын
I think the hollow earth theory is very possible indeed, when the moon is struck by an asteroid it is reported to "ring like a bell" which is thought provoking.. so if that is the case, why not earth as well? We cant even go down there and check so any "evidence" could easily be evidence of several other things to what is widely accepted

I've heard an explanation for expanding Earth hypothesis that the Earth core is metal hydrid and metal hydrid is more dense than normal metal, so it was denser in the past.
@chibani-7 жыл бұрын
that doesn't explain how such aloy metal has transform itself into lighter metal,since earth core is composed of lava

If you look at Expanding Earth theory and do reduce the volume of the Earth... you find that the continents actually DO fit together surprisingly neatly, it's not perfect but Australia rises up into the north pacific and joins coast with North America and Antarctica consumes the mid pacific area, doing this practically eliminates the oceans altogether and the truth is we DO find marine fossils all over the place on actual land, even at the top of mountains throughout the world. I'm not saying Expanding Earth is real or anything, I just find it interesting and at least more credible than complete bullcrap like Flat Earth. The obvious problem with expanding earth is the considerable increase in volume, meteors and the like can add mass to the planet but not THAT much!!

*at 31s i do have to pause alrdy and make an important note!* it's proven since over 10 years that the earth *is* actually growing, about 1cm diameter each year. this will solve the rising sealevels by iteself in future. that we still do have rising sealevels, does mean we have over 50% of the planets' lifetime left. asteroids 'n similiars may still extinct us, but that's another topic.

The Hollow Earth does not presuppose that we live underground. But it claims that there's an other world which houses other life forms, maybe extraterrestrial ones. If our sun were the centre of the Earth, how would you explain all the stars, the meteorites and the constellations we see in the sky (i.e. Orion)? Nonsense!
@Shinobi337 жыл бұрын
The flat 🌎 ones are laughable. The other ones are at least thought provoking. The one I would give credence to the the GaiaEarth theory. Because the conditions for life did become optimal here on Earth and as of yet nowhere else. Well that we know of.

1:49 Actually the Flat earth is an infinite plane and the earth is a circle disk, there is more land beyond the poles and beyond the 2nd ice ring there are other disks beyond the ice wall with other humans and creatures living there.
@JoeNoobie6 жыл бұрын
Expanding earth: the core could become less dense due to decreasing pressure as the surface increases distance thereby preserving mass and expanding volume . Sort of like how we can compress gas into a cylinder. and the compression changes the state of the matter. I'm sure that could be tested with a mathematical formula. Thanks though, I was looking for the cubic earth theory, and now I can look that one up better lol.

How is the concept of earth as a self-regulating organism insane? It's perfectly feasible, in the sense of pure mechanics -- look at how population plateaus work. I'm not sure I'd go so far as imply it has a level of sentience -- if it did, the scope of that would make it nearly impossible for us to communicate anyway (can a blood cell speak in complex concepts to the brain?) -- but in terms of a self-regulating machine, then it's perfectly viable.

@Hamsters8316 жыл бұрын
On the expanding earth theory. I don't think the mechanism of how expansion happened is required. the theory of how the continents came to be in be in the current state is what the expanding earth theory trying to answer. The expanding earth fits today's continents more than the pangea theory. Perhaps asteroids / meteor has something to do with it. additional mass results in disproportionately large expansion due to thermal expansion within the earth from the asteroid joining the earth core creating a lot of friction.. there is no way to know this part .. one can only speculate.. Theory must fit the facts and not vice versa. Pangaea theory is a crazier, ugly theory which raises more questions than it answers. You only believe its insane as you only accepted the theory of pangea..
