After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

Possibly unpopular opinion, but I really hate this trend of having something in the intro that happens later in the video. I'm already interested in the video, you don't need to spoil something cool that happens later on. I almost feel more inclined to turn the video off after watching an intro like this since I've already seen the best part of the video. It's like when a movie trailer has all the best parts of the movie in it, and the movie turns out to be subpar.
