Ironically now is the time when the entire world is trying to deal with dangerous covid-19 virus...From china to Italy to America to India,basically the entire world is trying its best to cope up with this pandemic fear...hence this quote is true in its sense...that we can all feel each others' agony and anxiety...hope this ends soon..

Thanks for including " A thousand splendid suns". This is the best book I have ever read in my life. This book is so sad, I cried so much after reading this book. Mariam's life has always been painful, though she has not done anything wrong. The most emotional part was the death of Mariam. This book inspired me to be grateful for where I am, because there are so many People in the world suffering and we cannot even imagine their situation. Khaled Hosseini, you are the best writer in the world! The kite runner is another amazing story.

@thehellyblog6 жыл бұрын
Hey, the chapters do not appear so to me. Can you help me with a deeper understanding?
@shreyamathur83836 жыл бұрын
In the book, Ella is this timid housewife, who on the surface has everything a home, a husband, children... just like Rumi, he had respect and fame, he had a family. But both of them felt this hole, this emptiness within. Until they come across this one person, who enters their life like a whirlwind. For Rumi it was Shams and for Ella it was the author of that manuscript. So the parallel here is between Ella and Rumi...

I learned 2 lesson From THE ALCHEMIST:- 1) Treasure is within you, everyone must introspect themselves to find the treausre within . 2) Alike Santiago the shepherd boy, if you are consistent, determined, resolent towards yours goal no matter how far you would to suffer. Santiago itself never lost his hope to reach his destiny, living in spain he travelled too long to get through the pyramids of Egypt, initially he was deceived but he continued his journey and the suffering went like to and fro n in the last he was beaten again but still he stood up and you know when you are this much determined, the soul of universe will help you to to reach your destiny. If Santiago could get his treasure, so we all can. Success: to suffer for a worthwhile cause
