For my little princes and princesses : - your big problems were once tiny sprouts that weren't handled immediately. - it is the time you give something that makes it precious. - relationships makes life worth living. - look beyond the surface. - care for things you have, sometimes they cannot be replaced. - sometimes silence is enough. - don't be afraid to be an explorer. - "The comfort zone is the real danger zone".

Genuinely my favorite book of all time. I read it once every few years and like you said. As the little prince moves through the galaxy, I move through my life and we discover new things each step of the way. The one I took after reading it most recently (in Spanish) was about domesticating another being. That being consistent and gaining the trust of someone else brings joy and also responsibility. We have to honor all those we “domesticate” in our lives as they have honored us with their trust.

I am seventy-two years old and have been a lifelong lover of books. I first read The Little Prince as a child. I have read it countless times since then. It is still my favorite book. I have copies in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, Yiddish, Hindi, and Japanese. They are displayed in a special place on the bookshelves I reserve for my personal treasures. Thank you for sharing your wise insights. Lovely post!

It was my favorite book for a while, since it’s one of the first books I’ve ever read (I was about 7-8) and I still love it, every time I read I end up crying, or digesting it for couple of days. I agree, it is a masterpiece, and I still can’t believe how using simple language and a story, that anyone can understand has such a deep philosophical and emotionally mature message to it. The Little Prince is a truly beautiful classic that I think every PERSON should read at least once.

The Little Prince really feels like a ‘universal’ book and it’s one of my favourites. Coming back to it, there’s always a new side to it to discover. :) An interesting book to look into is Wind, Sand and Stars, also written by Saint-Exupery. It details some of his life as a pilot. He was stranded in the Sahara before.

Exactly as you said about this "universal" book! As for the other book, i didn't read it, i know about him being stranded in the desert! Will definitely add it to my reading list 😍

What did you think about the part with the fox?
@Jamil.francis2 жыл бұрын
I hesitated to put it in the video, I try to keep my videos short. But the fox 🦊 part is really interesting, it teaches us how to build meaningful relationships.. it is easy to make random relationships, but meaningful ones need patience and time ⌚
