What did you do with the front end brake line? We couldn't use the lowering bracket because the hard brake line won't bend down, and we don't want to bend/break the brake line. I see you have the lowering bracket on your vehicle, but we can't see how you were able to move your brake line without damage. Any help you can provide would be great. Thank you
@midwestbuilds4 жыл бұрын
Al Oppenheiser hey, if i remember right, i did pull down on the break line but very little. I have sense sold the truck otherwise i could get ya some photos. ROughcountry has always been great with help and maybe they could send ya a pic? Sorry couldnt help anymore than this...hope ya get it figured out!

@aram48545 жыл бұрын
Hi I have a question did you do this step on the lift??? 21. On the driver and passenger side rear control arm pocket cut the front lip off flush with the pocket 1.0” passed the con- trol arm hole . Didn’t see you do that. I’m going to be tackling this soon.
@midwestbuilds5 жыл бұрын

Do you have a humming / grinding noise when coasting only when in 4x4 mode? Feels like its going to break. Is it normal? It's very annoying. My other chevy didnt hum when coasting. It don't hum when in 2 wheel mode. I wonder if its the brand or the installer messed up. Let me know, Thanks.
@midwestbuilds5 жыл бұрын
Roland Herrera yea not sure! The only hum i get is from the tires, i have had some loose bolts recently that caused a “clicking” or grinding type noise when turning but if everything is to spec and i have no issues. I havnt had a ton of time in 4x4, only in the winter months in snow and ice. Hopefully you just have a loose bolt or somethin! 🤞

Sorry, I just put mine in this weekend, will get an alignment tomorrow. I have the stabilitrak light on and traction control light on. Did you have this issue until you got an alignment? Thanks for the help
@midwestbuilds4 жыл бұрын
Jorge De Luna sorry no, i kept battery disconnected until i was done. No lights. Maybe you could try unplug or hopefully the alignment will help! Hope ya like the lift! I can never go back to a regular size truck now 😂

Hi bud, i'm installing the same kit but i'm running on a problem with the lower ball joints. They're the cone looking ones but my steering knuckle has a straight hole. did you ran into the same problem or did you had to change or order another lower ball joint.
@midwestbuilds4 жыл бұрын
Junior R. Aleman no sorry i didnt have to change anything. Everything fit great. I noticed they had multiple kits to order depending on stamped control arms or aluminum or there was one other. Not sure if that could be causing u some issues but rough country has always been great to work with so im hoping they can help ya out!
@j-ramtruckingllc15734 жыл бұрын
@@midwestbuilds I found the problem, we order the wrong knuckle for the control arm. I got in contact with RC and they already sending the right part. Thank you bud.

You use same struts right

Yes, just add spacers to the front and new shocks for the rear
@jorgedeluna11104 жыл бұрын
If you don't add the spring spacers on the struts will the rear end sit an 1inche higher then?
