Big misstatement in the video; Yohji is not carried by Dover Street Market.

Most of my wordrobe is Yohji, and I'm constantly trading in non Yohji pieces just to buy more Yohji. I don't own any of his leggings yet, it is hard to pair his stuff up with other brands. So far it pairs well with Alexander Mcqueen and Comme des Garcons. I'm an artist and his stuff is kind of wizard wear. They are the most expensive collectors items I've ever owned

Also huge Yohji fan here, hello : ) ! Personally I like a lot to pair it with Lemaire clothes, which very often have the same volumes and overall vibe, just with a bit more (faded) color palettes. The two work really really well together for days when you don't wanna do the "all black" thing.

I really like your approach, and I bet if you did a series of videos devoted to avant-garde fashion a bunch of us would be very happy. :)

Great video and keep it up! I forget what the movie was called, but Yohji had a movie/documentary out in the late 80s. It’s out of print and back when he was more a underground designer and not as well known.

The last fact is crazy. Yeah he's rich compared to the average joe but I'd actually say he's poor for a legendary, celebrity designer. I think it also sends a good message - being moderately wealthy is perfectly fine, albeit it wasn't by choice.

Pretty sure Dover Street doesn’t carry Yohji. As far as I am aware there’s quite some distance between the designers that is also pushed by Adrian Joffe
