Not only does it look fast, fluid and (most importantly) fun, but Spidey isn't spouting the same four to five excruciatingly horrible lines that are so poorly delivered I want to garrote him with his own webs, followed by the VA and then myself. Spider-Man will continue holding the line until you release R2 correct? I hope he doesn't let go automatically at any point. You should be able to hang on and then the swinging should slow down back and forth until you're just hanging sort of still. That's realistic and you could do it in Spidey 2.

I wanted control of holding onto the web or holding 2 webs at a time or being able to slingshot myself but those were the details you don't get.Honestly bro I still think it's hard for game developers to beat the spiderman 2 gameplay. Graphics and gameplay is still great but hopefully they do add some of those things

American Muscle 345 I have a few hours into this game now. And I'm impressed. Its the best Spidey game I've ever seen. Not even close. And my concern here hasn't been an issue. Spidey holds the line longer in some situations and shorter in others and it feels completely natural when he releases after a certain point. So its all good. Also I just unlocked the charged jumping skill and it works great! Really fun. You don't have the control over how much power you jump with as in spidey 2', BUT its better than spidey 2's at what it does do. And all the other stuff you can do. ESPECIALLY the web zipping and all the zip points that there are. There is no comparison. This is the best by far.

it's odd and out of place, never seen that in a movie, now I would add that maybe from landing from a huge height, but not taking off. Those smoke effects when he jumps off a building are a bit weird. Haven't seen that in any gameplay before. Maybe it's an upgrade you get later? Anyway, I think it looks kinda stupid.

I love how hitting the ground or walls or anything doesn't slow you down but you can keep momentum. That is a difference maker

N Burke Officials honestly that would get annoying real fast, the two amazing spider-man games did that and i wanted to rip my ears out after hearing the same 5 voice clips being played for the hundredth time.

Definitely. It got so fucking annoying In the Amazing Spiderman games. He just wouldn't shut up! And it didn't help that they recorded only like 5-6 voice lines for it either. So it just kept looping.
