Thanks Dr Ingky. I have used too much makeup previously and now I prefer to do proper skincare before applying makeup and to avoid using layer after layer of foundation. Subsequently, after cleaning away makeup, I will use another gentle cleanser before using retinol and moisturizer to facilitate the damaged skin barrier back to recovery.

Can we talk about skin of color? A lot of skin products send mixed messages of "brightening". Which ones are safe to use?
@ArtemisUnderscoreJ3 жыл бұрын
I second this question. 😕

Brightening products help with dark spots and evening out skin tone. They usually don’t actually lighten your skin. Vitamin C is a popular ingredient for brightening skin but there are others.

@alexandercrimson28303 жыл бұрын
Oh...This is very different from things you hear everyday, but it makes a LOT of sense. I've did a lot of it thinking it was good for my skin. When my skin got worse I just thought it was genetics or that I have bad skin 😅 Also, I started using natural honey on my face. It's really soothing and kinda looks like it helped with my complexion Thank you for a great video!

so instead of using blotting paper what do u recommend to use in addressing oily face ?
@vaguealame_3 жыл бұрын
Using a great moisturizer for oily skin might help you reduce the sebum production, it did for me but then again it depends on each individual. I use the effaclar moisturizer by La Roche-Posay. The main thing is to keep the skin hydrated without causing the pores to be clogged. A great cleanser that I recommend is one of Mario Badescu for acne pron skin in which there's salicylic acid in :)
