Big Demz😍 Love to watch you, you’re real and you have an amazing personality. You see, this 20s yeah we’re all going through it. Forget the aesthetics and fake life yeah, when you really sit down and have deep convos with people esp those who look like they have it all figured out, you’d be amazed at what they’re dealing with. It’s a phase. Most of us in our 20s don’t know what we’re doing half the time. Another thing I wanna say is, focus on you, and don’t compare yourself with another person even if y’all grew up together. Our lives are so uniquely different and our timelines are never gonna be same. I be the one to mute a friend who I love but I feel pressured by their content 😢 like I’m telling you, I’ll mute your posts and stories esp when I feel like I’m in my feelings and I don’t want to be jealous you get. So that helps me. Again, everyone’s posting their highlights and not what it really is, some have perfected the craft of making it look fabulous all the time and that’s good for the brand they’re trying to create but in reality we know that’s not true. I think you’re doing amazing like really amazing no jokes. I’d say have a vision. Who you wanna be. Then break that vision into goals plus actionable steps. And focus on that. Most importantly, cling to God like ! Hang on His neckkk cuz He helps a great deal. We’re His children and He brings a fulfillment that nothing else can give us. I also think that you’re home sick so if you can communicate more with the people you connect the most with and love like your sisters regularly it would do you a lot of good. It’s a phase and it will get better. You’re not alone I promise you.

Everything flows demz! I’ve been feeling stuck since my marriage in 2019, i felt like I’ve peaked in life… no kids, i and my husband’s travel plans was just not moving forward, no amazing job, i just went into my shell coupled with insane weight i added. But at least i have a loving family and husband, I still have sources of income, just be grateful and keep pushing…. Your life can change in a week! It happened in 2019 too, i was stuck in school… couldn’t seem to graduate, that year I graduated, got married, moved to a new city and was thriving till covid hit… again everything flows, now i can see the light simultaneously, everything is falling into place. Just be strong and count your blessings

As someone who is turning 40 very soon, please know that even though you may now have real life responsibilities you are very much young (young adult)! I don't think anyone really begins understanding life prior to the early 30s & I will NEVER understand anyone getting married before 30 speaking as a married person. Life will always be confusing as I wasn't prepared to assist my parents because I thought they had more time before needing my help even if I'm almost 40! Sounds like you have more together than most 25 year olds! My 30s were good & I think my 40s will be better! Take everything day by day.

This is totally relatable Demz, I’m 23 at the moment and everytime I feel like I’m just running out of time, my friends are settled, married, having babies already! and so on and I’m just…I don’t know. I’m honestly trying to go with “oh, do not put so much pressure on yourself, you’re still young, you don’t need to have it all figured out just yet etc” but there are days when I definitely still cry myself to sleep but yeah to each their pace and I’m learning to walk in my pace and actually put in the work and I’ll definitely get to where I want to be. Yeah I definitely can relate and I feel it’s totally normal to feel the way you do cos it’s like a different reality is setting in for you. It might take a while for you to adjust to, but then you definitely will. I think we all have our breakdown days when everything just overwhelms us and all. And Nigeria has also not made it so easy for everyone too but we keep pulling through. Just use this time to build your skills/cv either learn a trade or do an unpaid internship somewhere if you can’t find a job or do free courses like coursera courses. Other than that please enjoy this time because it’s probably going to be the ‘free-est’ you will ever be and you will miss it. About your friends- just know they can’t have the things that are meant for you as in your own jobs, husbands etc is coming, it’s just their season.
