Those NERVOUS yips and yawns are CLASSIC traits of the BC when they really want to do something... like RIGHT NOW. As they will let you know, you can never move too quickly for their liking. "So let's get on with business... NOW !!!"

@@theoryianabsolute8777 tbh mine used to chat like this all the time. Lots of herding breeds are very vocal. Mine would do it in the morning when we were first getting up and there’s the morning hustle and bustle and sometimes in the evening if there was something going on (getting ready for a party or something). They’re super intelligent and very communicative, but I don’t think she was doing it because she wanted to do something more because something was already happening and she wanted to be involved

She looks like my Tess Siobhan did. Even talked like her! My Tess lived to be 16.2 yrs. Hope Grace lives a long life too. Border Collies ARE the smartest dogs! They have to be to know how to herd various types of animals, including humans!

My girls Gypsy Rose Lee and Little Bo Peep would growly "talk" to each other in front of my comfy chair. I believe the cousins were deciding who would sit in it next while I fixed dinner. Gypsy, the alpha-since Tess died-some sit there first and then jump down to let Bo Peep sit there next. Tess "talked" Gypsy into herding me to the bathroom one day. JackBNimble got after Bo Peep-when she was a wee pup-for muddying up their water bowl.

Quite surprised as this is where the KZbin Algorithm brought me. The mad thing is that this video is awesome and i can relate to it, i have a border collie too, a 16 month old reddish/brown & white color with a white tip on end of his tail, he is quite a looker with his green eye's, they can be quite piercing, the attitudes and intelligence of border collies is insane.

Border Collie reminds me of my Tess Siobhan! She lived to be 16 years and 2 months old, always singing and talking! Also, liked to herd me around my basement apt., take walkies, and play soccer.

Amazing. When I saw the video I was saying to myself. Who posted a video of Ruby, my 4 year border collie. They are amazingly like twins. I showed your video around the house and everyone was asking where did I make this video of Ruby. Everyone was amazed how they look alike. Both are beatiful. Mine doesn’t vocalize. Only rarely barks, and sometimes a small whine. Best of luck for your preciouse puppy.
