Dogs don’t bite because there angry. Sometimes there just scared. For example there was a story of a pit bull who was attacking men, and men only. It was because his owner always abused him. I have a Rottweiler. He’s a softy we bought him as a puppy he’s always been protective over me and other kids and sometimes even stays away from the babies in the family bc he thinks he’s gonna hurt them bless him. I used to play with this boy across the street and he was so mean (I only played with him because I was a loner back then). I knew his weakness. He was scared of dogs. So I got my dog on the lead and brought him out. He nearly peed his pants!

These specific dogs still have those instincts in them. All dogs are dangerous, as much as we hate to admit it. I used to have 3 rottweilers and 2 pitbulls and they were the sweetest things ever but someone broke into our house and they attacked and killed him so we had to put 3 of my dogs down but because one of my pitbulls got pregnant with my rottweiler we got to keep them and their pups but we had to put the mom and dad down after a couple weeks because they "were to much of a threat" like HELLO they were trying to protect me because I was with the mom sleeping at the time. i just think that it is just so sad that they got in trouble for doing their job like if you agree and reply for questions Edit: OMG 329 likes i did not expect that. p.s. one of the dogs were abused and another we found on the side of the road or in an alleyway i cant remember

I 100% Agree with you, since i have a soon to be 2 years old Rottweiler named Captain Hook (Krokis) He is the most adorable thing ever. Many people are scared of him...since he is huge and strong, but the thing is he only wants to say hi! And i am so sorry for what happened to your lovely dogs! They where only doing their job that is 'Protecting the owner to all costs' My dog gets along great with my animals! i have another dog (Romeo) too who is a waterdog mix with poodle who is really small. I agree with you so much! Where my grandad is from (Albania) it is said to be the roughest country in Europe! With Croatia and serbia. And one of his dogs sarplanics seriously injured a man who tried to steal my grandma's purse in public. And now he has to wear a muzzle whenever out in public. If he is caught on camera anywhere out my grandads property and garden without a muzzle my grandad will get a big fine and maybe will even Lose his dog!

bro My pitbull, Lou, was a pit bull and he was used for dogfighting and thrown on the streets when we found him!!! Yet he was the sweetest dog in the world, ofc he didn't get along with our other 2 dogs due to his past, but all my other dogs have bitten me before and growled at me. Lou never did! He was a fully bred American pit so chances of him getting cancer were high and so he was diagnosed with cancer and he died. The vet said he had a month left... he died 3 days later. Didn't even last a week. We brought him to so many places and so many people shot glares at my mother and I. People can be so blind by fear, it hurts my heart that my baby was treated that way. “Pit Bulls were originally created as fighting dogs” Me: NO they were actually originally created to be nanny dogs to take care of young children during the war. Eventually dog breeders took these dogs and bred them to be a fighting breed, so really, it’s humans’ fault that they are banned in countries. The breed is actually extremely loving and affectionate and is a safe breed to be around your kids, unless the specific dog has lived a life of abuse or has been rescued from the dog fighting, then training will have to take place before the pit can live with children.

i remembered my family's rottweiler who got scared with my fams toy poodle 😂 he hid behind me and just peeked if the poodle would go at him he was cute at that time he got scared at the little one he even sat behind me and placed his nose at my hand looking so cute yep he wasnt aggressive towards people but he was never fund of cats i don't know how many times he just bitten a cat at its neck and died immediately although he listens when we say drop it he just immdediately drops it-he also killed some chickens of our neighbour.. but sadly he died years ago now i miss him i miss that big feet on the palm of my hands.. i miss all my precious babies 😭😭😭😭

Benaz Dsouza I have a Tibetan mastiff, a pitbull mix, a husky/german Shepherd mix, and a bichon freeze. All of which know I am the alpha of the group. You have to raise them right, that’s about it. It takes some skill with some dogs, and others are timid and cuddly. Depends on what kind of dog you want to have.

Although the breed's genes play a big role...with proper training you could breed it out of them...for example: My friend has a rottweiler, he was abused and used as a guard dog, that would be the worst combination *EVER* . Then, my friend adopted him from the shelter, trained him *REALLY* good, and now he's less aggressive than my 2nd-generation Shorkie. EDIT: A Shorkie is a Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix (which is the mix of the 2 nicest breeds ever XD)

Lots of times dogs do not mean to hurt people, my grand parents always had Rottweilers, amazing and sweet dogs. When I was about 6 I fell in the mud while playing with two of the dogs and started crying. The dogs both tried to flip me over to see if I was okay using their paws, leaving scratches, My grandfather ran to stop them since it looked like they were attacking me, while in reality only trying to help.

What most dog owners in the comment section failed to understand is that just because YOUR dog is not aggressive, doesn't mean every other dog of the same breed isn't. You can't generalize the behavior of a breed based on your personal experience with just a few of them. While I do agree that owners play an important role in dogs' behavior, you just have to admit that some dogs are naturally more aggressive than others, it's just the way genetics works. like Caucasian just naturally have lighter skin color than other races.

I agree and disagree with that. I truly believe its the way you raise your dogs. For example, if you beat, hit, or yell at your dog for no reason, it would most likely start becoming aggressive. It you love and treat your dog well, there's no way, unless someone did something to the dog, that it would become aggressive. Genetics can play a big part in a dog, but again, theres a reason a dog is aggressive. Like with Pitbulls, if you listened to the video, *they were bred for FIGHTING.* People took an amazing dog breed, and ruined it. Pitbulls used to be called "Nanny Dogs" because they were so great with kids. And yes, some dogs are more naturally aggressive, but theres really a reason for it. Everyone *ALWAYS* talk about the bad with 'dangerous' breeds, rarely the good. Any breed can be aggressive. From Pitbulls to Labradoodles, Dobermans to chihuahuas, Mastiffs to Miniature Schnauzers, it all depends on the bloodline and how it (and its earlier generations) are taken care of.

PrintScreen Totally agree. Selective breeding for certain traits makes the difference in the behaviour of different breeds. Aggressive breeds need to be handled better to avoid tragic incidents. At the end of the day they are all animals and they can be unpredictable

I've owned Rotties my entire life. When my daughter was born, my Rottie at the time had never experienced children, much less a baby. My Rottie wouldn't let anyone except me, my husband and my mother near my daughter. I've always said Rotties are most protective of children. It's a natural instinct. She was an absolute goofball with the family and people that she knew. But when it came to my kid,and later on her friends,she was always right there with them making sure nobody could harm them. She was their buddy.

My father got him when I was little, he would do exactly what you said, play games act like a total goofball but when it came down to me and my family he would be the perfect guard dog, he protected me like I was his child and loved me, he was super loyal and well behaved. Exclusively barking at sirens and alarms or just happy to see me arrive home of course, but other then that he was a pretty quiet, calm and unique dog. He would listen to me the most and my commands and always follow me around. God I miss him, but i hope he's up there with God having a good time, I hope to see him again when I go too.

I have a doxbull (Dachshund/pitbull). I named him Tobias. He's 11 months. 78% pitbull Almost 30%% doxie. Loves people and kids and dogs. I made sure to socialize him very young starting at 9 weeks right after I adopted him from the rescue. Pittes are some of the best dogs to own. doxies as well. Just raise either breed right.
