When I filed for MDD, I was denied. They said that I was only depressed because I was away from my kids, and should no longer be depressed since I was 'back with them.' 😣😭 There was definitely more going on than that.

What about tendonitis? Sometimes we hurt tendons & joints in different parts of the body!!!

Question- is the v/a supposed to council us that we can file for disability, or would qualify for ptsd c&p, if we're receiving mental care services for ptsd at the v/a? I got out in 99. I'm also gulf war navy veteran and receive v/a care for presumptive gulf war syndrome illnesses and have 2 deployments in Southeast Asia and on the airborn hazards registry, 95 and 97. But just was denied my claim.
