I really thought Atletico de Madrid wouldve been featured high up in this list tbh. Last decade they started it off in the spanish second division and it took them a couple of seasons to get bak to La Liga, where they were then terrible throughout most of the 2000s until Aguero and Forlan qualified them for the CL towards the end. Then they started the 2010s by winning the Europa League and the European Supercup in 2010 (first silverware since 1996), and when Simeone was appointed in 2011 they have gone on to win one La Liga title, one Spanish Cup title, one Spanish Supercup, 2 more Europa Leagues, 2 more European Supercups, and featured in 2 CL finals where they came within an inch of winning both. Not to mention they have played CL football in 9 out of 10 seasons and have had a European Golden Boot (Forlan) and 2 Ballon D'Or 3rd place finished (both Griezmann). Theyre currently giants of european football, top 8 for sure minimum. They were barely known outside of Spain during the 2000s. Aupa Atleti!!!!!!!!!!!!

URSL Visé played in the 9th Belgian tier (the lowest level in Belgian football) in 2013/14, now they are in the 3rd tier, they have been promoted every year since. This year looks it looks like they won't continue their spectacular rice anymore because they are 9th (of 16) in the league

AEK Athens from Greece could be here. Relagated in the 3rd division in 2012-13 due to financial problems and basically lack of ownership and almost extinct due to huge debt. Won back to back promotions after reforming again under a new owner (who took the club again after many years to get them back to the top). 1st year back in the top flight they won the Greek Cup and the following year the League title for the 1st time in 24 years. As a result they didn't only play European football after 5+ years, but they also qualified in the goup stage of the Champions League after more than 10 years. What a decade this has been for my team, from almost total wipeout, to winning titles again!

What about Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves)? ....very impressive in the league since they came up in 2018, and taking scalps with comparative ease in the Europa League. For me, they are one of the most exciting teams in England (and possibly Europe) right now. They definitely deserved an honourable mention. Future Premier League champions? ....a distinct possibility. They may not be 'money bags' but have a top manager who's clearly very shrewd. They obviously also have a very good Scouting team. Virtually all their buys over the last few years have done well. That's a rare thing for any club no matter how big it is.

Also, idk why people have still not fact-checked this but no, RB Leipzig is not a rebranded SSV Markranstädt. RB Leipzig was founded as a new club in 2009 and took the license (and all the players) from Markranstädt's first team for a season. After that season, the players all went back to SSV Markranstädt.

Southampton started the decade in league 1 after just coming out of administration. By 2012 were back in the Premier League, have qualified for Europe twice beating Inter Milan, have reached a major cup final in 2017 and an FA Cup semi final in 2018. I think we definitely deserve to be in this.

The rest they were floating around the lower leagues. Last 2-3 seasons haven't been great but 7 of the 10 years were continued progress and growth. Normally, I like your Top 7 videos, but this is the first one I dislike. Two reasons, in my opinion you focused to much on british teams and excluded to many foreign clubs, for exaple Atalanta or Eibar or even teams like Freiburg. Saints - Bottom of League 1 with a points deduction. Successive promotions and a few top 8 finishes in the Prem, before supplying European Champions Liverpool with the likes of Van Dyck, Mane, Lallana, Lovren and struggling a bit.

Well I thought it was a good list...I think adding Luton's major off the field woes with 30 point deductions & an owner that tried to rip the club & sell all the assets...until the fans ousted him Bournemouth- 10 minutes away from liquidation with an owner that chose the club over ease to walk away. Personally I would have swapped Southampton for Sheffield United when you consider how much top level youth they had to sell to stay a float, then look at the squad they have lost...most notable Liverpool rise coincides with a number of transfers from this club

It was a bit early to include Sheff Utd. Southampton were in the 3rd tier in 2012 and finished 8th, 7th, 6th and 8th in the PL. Leicester should be ranked a lot higher I think
