Your bees and honey decor is adorable! 🐝🍯 I used to have bee hives so I have a special place for them in my heart! ❤️ Thanks for asking what time it is because frankly I'm not ready for fall or Christmas. 😋 I know a bunch of you did Christmas in July and fall and Halloween are all over the place. My biggest residence is the 100°+ days we've been having since early June. And they will probably not go away until October or November. I've done everything to not think of summer but it just won't go away. So I'm embracing it to celebrate your bee and honey theme. 😘 If I thought crafting for fall or Halloween would help the heat go away, I would surely be crafting. 😚 The only kind of crafting I've been working on is making candy corn crates. They're just painted candy corn colors and have yellow, white and orange flowers in them. And since there's no emoji for candy corn, I'm using this 🔥 It's the same colors and even looks like candy corn. 😉 But I also have a list of emojis that we need, gnomes being another one. 😁 We're also seeing a lot of mummies this year and since there's no emoji, I'm using 🤕 But I digress.... Oh, the food coloring is so you know that every bit of your stencil gets some burn gel because otherwise the gel would be totally clear. I probably should've explained that a bit more. Great ideas! Also your glue sticks are not yellowed with age. They are a different type of glue, usually a wood glue in hot glue form. I bought some back in the eighties at Michael's Craft store because they had made a sample wreath with a honeypot and large wooden bees on it. They used the wood glue sticks to make the honey in the pot. It was adorable, and I bought a pkg of those sticks right then! You can also buy yellow wood glue in a liquid form in a bottle.Thats what most woodworkers keep on hand for everyday use.

I sure didn't know about the wood glue in hot glue sticks form, but it makes sense because I do have fabric hot glue sticks and I also have regular colored glue sticks. These older glue sticks I've had since my kids were small....late 80's/early 90's and I'm pretty sure they weren't yellow, but anyway anything is possible, I guess. Hi Jenny, yes the burn gel is super cool. The possibilities are endless. No, it did not hurt my CC transfer. I made sure to place it in water asap and I washed it quickly too. I got both the Ammonium Chloride and the Thick It from Amazon. The Thick It is food grade and the Ammonium (not Ammonia) Chloride is only harmful on your skin if you get on and leave it for a while. Gloves would be great to use, just in case. I do work quickly and I didn't get any on myself with this small project, but if I do a larger project, I'll definitely use gloves, just in case.
