Absolutely spot on sir! Yes , definitely SEBI has to fine 4 times of the fraud value and also consider it as criminal offence if found guilty. Because the most important person a salaried investor who is sacrificing his current necessities of life and hard earned money to secure his future; if he is cheated , there is no point of talking about ethics (This is the reason 80 percent of the mutual fund investor leaves within 1 year of investment when he fears loss of his principal also with such news ). As a salaried investor i kindly request the honorable SEBI authorities to take the strickest action and applaud their efforts to protect and safeguard the interest of the investors. They are our financial commandoes and we trust SEBI and thank them.

Mutual fund money is Public's money. And if fraud is happening there then the rules may have holes. Rule makers must ensure that Mutual funds and corporate companies do not steal money of the citizen, and put heavy fines and Jail terms. Some companies are listed to grab money from citizens and then enjoy and ditch the company. Its all may be happening because of lack of heavy punishment rules. Mutual Fund & Stock market area should not be the easy scam place.. Citizen's sweat money should be protected.
