I have finally done a My Bloody Valentine riffs video. I put this off for a while as I found the 'glider' guitar technique a bit awkward to play, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm not entirely sure how to play most of these properly, so don't take this as an exact demonstration of how to play them!

That takes me back: "Isn't Anything" was in heavy rotation my freshman year in college, and everyone would play "Feed Me With Your Kiss" because it's a catchy title. The thing is, it's a nightmare for DJ's who are maybe hearing it for the first or second time, because it's got like 11 false endings, so you have to hover over the turntable for like a minute. Anyway, those were fun to listen to. I've always heard a "snap" in the chords of _Sometimes_ like there's an acoustic guitar deep in the mix, but I might be wrong.

If the glider technique is awkward is may be due to the fact Kevin Shields puts tape at the base of his which leads to it being easier to do. Pretty sure i remember seeing him say this either in the Fender vids about him or elsewhere. Still sounds great all round tho. Great stuff, dude! Would like to have heard 'I Only Said'. Apparently you can get M.B.V effects pedal now, endorsed by Kevin Shields himself. Saw them live about 25yrs ago. Fantastic but I had to go outside for about 5 cigs as it was eardrum-shreddingly loud. Never heard volume like it - people were vomiting! Keep up the great posts 👍.

It's a V65 by Vintage. As for the tunings, I just used standard gauge strings. 9s I think they were. I can never be bothered to change them for alt. tunings unless I really have to.

Glider technique to do is possible with Harley Benton ms 60 or Harley Benton ja OW?

The Harley Benton JA looks like a hardtail bridge so you won't be able to do it. You need one with a whammy bar. MS 60 looks like you would be able to do it as it has a jazzmaster style whammy.

Thanks. I used a Boss Katana amp and a foot switch to change the settings on the amp. All sounds were from the amp.

I adjust the settings. You can do that on the amp itself or in the tone studio software. It's a good amp and there are a lot of sounds on it. I would recommend it sure.

I put a lot of reverb on it and delay. Also there is a tiny bit of octave on it (octave above) but you can barely hear it.
