The pride that those kids showed when letting everyone see their pizza creations tugged at this mama's heart. My 3 babies are all grown up and I sure do miss just being with them everyday. That's what the do though . They grow up and if you're lucky they bless you with precious little grandchildren. I have 6 grandbabies and they truly are the joy of my life. Potato hack, microwave them until almost done, then put in the air fryer @ 370 for 10 min. Tastes like from the oven without heating up the house. Super crispy skin & fluffy inside. Best ever plus less than half the time. Give it a go, I'm sure you'll like them.

I add sliced up green onion in my Twice Baked Potatoes. They are a great make ahead dish as well.

I always save and freeze the tough asparagus ends. I've heard people say if you peel them, you get rid of most of the tough fiber, and the inside pieces are tender and tasty to cook. I haven't tried that yet, but I do use the ends when I make chicken broth. Then I can have the asparagus flavor in a soup or pot pie, even when asparagus is not in season.

Just an idea for the asparagus scraps. Wash, chop and divide into a muffin pan. Crumble feta over then. Scramble eggs in a bowl. Pour in. Bake. Watch the salt in the eggs because the feta is salty. But, man-o-man, they are bustin! 😆 Oh, and easy. Which is the main thing other than the waste factor. I love making these to have for a quick breakfast or lunch when I’m working. 🥰

When I make tuna salad, I use tuna mayo sweet pickel relish and grated boiled egg in it ,and serve it on toasted bread to make a sandwich 🥪

It has to have some chopped onion and some fresh chopped up bell pepper, maybe a combo of both sometimes or some chopped up celery! 11:14 stuff a shelled out tomato and put a slice of Swiss Cheese over top and bake in the oven about 20 minutes, long enough to get that cheese good and melty, yum!

I make the thin cuts. I called them fast food and I keep hot sauce made. I'm can't make a small batch so I freeze it on. Thought cooked him real real Crisp , Hydrate them again with the hot sauce. Yummy

Brooke it is also good to add taco meat, refried beans and cheese to make twice baked potatoes. Then top with normal taco stuff. My granddaughter loves a lot of raw vegetables and peppers are her favorite.

I didn’t understand how deeply true this was until about midway through my sophomore year of college. I’d been living on fast food and my own meager culinary concoctions for almost 2 years when I finally got to go home for a week. I complained about my mom’s Monday night meatloafs to every friend I ever had growing up, but when I finally went home sophmore year I nearly ruptured my stomach eating a whole pan of it by myself like some shebeast from the third level of hell.
