I just played some of this to my lifelong Collingwood supporting elderly father who is undergoing palliative care treatment at his nursing home and in his final days perhaps hours. Mason’s voice brought a smile to his face and although he can barely speak whispered “ Coxy”!

I wonder if Mason's accent is so strong because of his Texas accent. I always kind of thought he was laying it on a bit but then I saw a 60 Minutes Australia piece about a Belgian princess where one of the journalists interviewed was a Dutchman who moved to Ireland after 18 who's Irish accent is pretty strong since I'm assuming it mixed so well with his natural Dutch accent.

Texas has paved roads? Whaaaaaaaaaaaat!!! 😂 What an awesome curve ball of a guest dude!!! And So cool for us to actually see the Cox brothers together having a good proper yarn for the first time. I totally forgot about Trump wanting to nuke that hurricane, hard to believe it even went through his mind, Although his mind is a powerful thing being able to declassify them top secret docs 😂 I gotta say, it's amazing that Nolan has explored Oz, and loves it just as much as U do Coxy, makes me even more proud of this land and everything it has to offer. Your 'in-cox-itated' contract review at the Crown had me laughing, and not to sound too corny but, the "big brotheness" of how Nolan looked out for ya, researched the legitimacy of AFL and supported you through the first trip out here is pretty damn admirable, it's cool that your brotherly bond is that solid. Not everyones is. Would have loved to have been a fly on that wall (ledge) at St Kilda Beach, I can see how the setting and the deep importance and weight of the conversation would have resulted in it being visibly etched in your mind forever. And I've said this before, but in the future im particularly keen to see you munchin on scorpions and crocodiles goolies in the jungle, if Bucks can handle it you definitely can bro, and no doubt, you would be crowned king for sure, and I reckon being King OTJ is way better than a boring old OAM any day. Plus you don't have to give up your US citizenship to do it. Anyways, Another fully sick, entertaining and uniquely insightful pod.
