I have Layton but the Exclusif is on my list to purchase next. Les Baines Guerbois 1978 sounds right up my alley. I have to check it out. Hypnotizing fire is one of my favorite in my collection. I have the EDP but I actually prefer the Parfum. Definite masterpiece. Exceptionally blended. Cheers

Hey Jarino, I have a few Guerlain L’homme ideal fragrances; edt, extreme, and platine prive. Do I need to get edp? Imo edt is similar to what is described in the edp, I pick up almond, cherry, leather, and some fresh aromatic touches. Thanks again. 🙏

I really like Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP, but to me the best in that line is the Extreme version. Dior Homme Parfum, BDC Parfum, Dior Homme Intense, L'homme Ideal Extreme, The One Luminous Night, and Oud Wood are the only designer fragrances I'd say are 10/10 with Edition Blanche sitting at 9.5. due to not lasting that long. I use Edition Blanche for summer nights out though, so perfect for that. In regards to Layton Exclusif, while I LOVE Layton, I can't stand Layton Exclusif. One of the few fragrances I strongly dislike. My wife hates it and my coworkers all hate it too. So glad i only got a decant cause that would have been a blind buy disaster.

I love Extreme as well! I own 5 from the Ideal line: Cologne, EDP, L’Intense, Extreme and Platine Privé. Nice ones for sure the ones you mentioned! What do you think of Spicebomb Extreme btw? And Tom Ford Noir Extreme (Parfum) ? Yeah Layton Exclusif is not for everyone because of the Oud and Civet note haha 😂 But for me it’s a masterpiece! Wearing it now as my scent of the morning actually. But fragrances are subjective! I always say wear what you love and love what you wear! 👌🏻

Recently got a sample of hypnotizing fire…tbh I get nothing but the rose…very dissapointed , had high hopes…tried rocking it out anyways but all people could smell was the rose note..it reminded me of black orchid a little bit..has it been recently reformulated I wonder

Great list man! I own Guerlain L'homme Ideal Cologne (which sadly has been discontinued) but I simply love the freshness combined with the almond note and slight creaminess. It's a masterpiece in my humble opinion. 🔥👌🏽 Shout out from Costa Rica and keep up the great content!

Hey man thanks! Akdeniz is pretty nice 7,5/10 but Zen’gi is a 10/10 imo and beastmode for summer as well! What’s also amazing for summer is Sospiro Vibrato or Basso, Fragrance One Office for Men, Lorenzo Pazzaglia Dream Sea or Black Sea, City Rhythm Miami, San Diego, Rhythm, Miami TC and St. John! 👌🏻 Arabian Oud Amiri is also superb but that’s not really strong!

I bought TF oud wood from Nordstrom here in USA 11/22. I only wore like one time. It's was collecting dust for almost 1 year. I returned it after year with box. Got back like $425. Nordstrom have policy for no return time.

Layton exclusif has the best 5-10min opening of any fragrance ive ever smelled. After that, its the same as the original layton which is really good. The harmonist is out of this world good. Date night killer. My nose had to have a waiting period for Isola blu. Now, its basically the smells of rich dude with F You money! Guerlain is good but not 10/10 for me. Great list though.

I agree on Layton Exclusif’s opening that’s out of this world! But still it remains his own darker / woodier version of Layton, with a nice woody / oudy drydown! I own both and love both equally, I was wearing it again yesterday and is now my most worn fragrance in the last 6/7 weeks! 👌🏻 Hypnotizing Fire Parfum is an absolute masterpiece, perfect for a date night for sure! Isola Blu smells superb, if you want something that’s almost the same for way less, get Sospiro Basso! That’s a 100 ml for like 60% of the price haha. I forgot to mention it in the video, but I had Basso in the background on my shelf. Thanks for the support and the comment, have a day! 🙏🏼

The cherry note is less prominent, smells slightly different! But maybe only noticeable for the trained nose I don’t know 😋 haven’t smelled the newer batches to be honest but 2020 is amazing! 2016 is still the best!👌🏻
