I think what happened with Breece Hall is starting to happen with Javonte. It was never really, really a committee, he's just been on a pitch count. He's looking healthier each week. In PPR you are mad if you get rid of Kamara. His touches may come down a little bit, but Carr always hits checkdowns to RBs. He has also been unlucky not to be scoring more TDs.

Everyone has been so low on Kamara this year. I drafted him expecting the amount of targets he’s been getting with Carr as his qb and I’m expecting it to continue. Hot take, he’s a buy low top 3-5 rb rest of season in ppr. Potentially higher if he starts scoring more td’s

He won't get the TDs though. He's super inefficient and Williams + Hill will vulture most of the TDs. That's on top of them already being an anemic offense. He'll be a good RB1, but not an elite one ROS. He's been doing pretty well against bad defenses with his backups hurt. It's been literally a perfect situation for him. Imo, he's in that 8-10 range with 5 of his last 10 weeks being against bad matchups and another week being a bye. However, you could probably sell him like a top 5 back.

I sold Kamara after his 1st week back for Olave bc I was in dire need of WR help plus I read all over how his target production wasn’t sustainable (he had that wild “spike” target game bc of Carr’s injury), hes inefficient, and will have increased backfield competition. While I do agree on all your points about some expected regression I ultimately regret making the move and think he’ll still be a top 12 back RoS bc of his safe target floor even if scaled back (ie 5-6 tgt / game). I feel like he should only be sold if you can get PEAK value from him, otherwise just enjoy the points he’ll provide. Volume overrides inefficiency in most cases esp in PPR. That’s how I’ve justified owning Lenny a handful of times over the past few years at least lol

I would take kamara over bijan and pollard right now in ppr. The other thing is he is not scoring any tds yet and averaging 21 points. Even if he gets only 5 catches it’s still elite usage. Jamaal was the only question and he isn’t going impact him any way

He won't start scoring TDs at a consistent clip. Wouldn't bank in that in your outlook for him. He's inefficient, the offense is terrible, and Hill+Williams vulture a ton of goal-line opportunities. Add in that the matchups get way harder after his bye and through the playoffs.

You had some decent takes in the past but the moment you open with sell Kamara because too many touches, that's a click off. Carr has historically either slung it far or dropped it off. Kamara is effectively his Jacobs of last year, or Darren Waller of the years prior, plus he passes every stat and eye-test out there. That one's just a bad take.

The reason Kamara is getting the work (pass work) is because of the offensive line injuries. And he WILL do it again this week and likely the week after. So hopefully no one listens to you just yet. His production drop off might come in week 10 and/or after the bye. But maybe not, because he did well against the Jags good run D. Also a couple of his playoff matchups are great. I think you're wrong here, at least for now until the O line is healthy and Carr has time to get the ball downfield. I basically agree with the rest of your sell highs, though. Can't believe anyone would want Najee.

Jacobs was averaging 3.5 targets/game last year. Kamara is averaging 9.75 targets/game. They are totally different situations. Jacobs did it off insane rushing/TD efficiency. Kamara is doing it off empty volume with purely check downs

If you know Derek Carr at all you know he loves to check down, and if you watched any preseason games he fed Kamara like he’s still doing now. Telling people “it won’t continue” is bad advice. JK dobbins (season ending injury again excluded) is a good not great RB on a team full of good not great RBs and a Qb that gets most of the rushing TDs. Even healthy his ceiling was never going to be that high. Just couldn’t wrap my head around the overall consensus of fantasy KZbinrs telling people to draft him in the earlier rounds. I watch these videos as background noise as I do my own homework but for people that need this type of content just really feel the advice should be better. Why do this type of content if it’s not going to help people.

As soon as Jamaal gets ramped back up, Kamara will be in that Swift role & Jamaal is probably going to get majority of the goal line work, it’s just Kamara might see more touches than Swift did, he will regress some, they brought Jamaal there for a reason, Jamaal’s injury was the only thing that held him back early when Kamara was suspended, if he had all of those weeks to get comfortable, he’ll be seeing way more touches right now
