We have found people who work at State Parks are generally happier with their jobs and more responsive to campers' concerns then staff people who work at RV Parks. We were once cursed at and told we could leave a privately owned RV Park after we reported our EMS/Surge protector locked out power to our RV because of an open ground at the campsite power pedestal.

Nice video. Thank you. I have a few questions related to RV camp ground, and I am hoping to get some answers to those questions. I have a farm in Arkansas, and I was thinking about turning part of a grazing field into an RV park as an additional income to my farm income. I have livestock that would be in the distance of the RV park, however it will be separated by a fence. So far, I have not done anything yet. I ran into your video today I wanted to understand if this is worth doing, is it too late, etc. All I am looking for is to understand and learn from others. I appreciate any help I get. Here is my questions. 1- We are not situated on a main highway. About a mile from the main highway on a paved road. Would this generally prevent people from renting? 2- When I start this project, I will be doing a boondock first, as I cannot afford all the expenses of running wires, water,.etc As it generates income I can upgrade the park to all the necessities people request. In your opinion, will I find people who are willing to rent without water, electric, etc? and how do people find out about RV camp grounds? Where do I advertise in the future when it is ready for renting? 3- As you probably know, the solar eclipse will be in April of this year, and we are in direct line of the eclipse. Our place is on a mountain, 1100 above sea level, and it can be a great spot for taking pictures of the eclipse. Are we too late for this event? have people with RV reserved already? I was thinking about this project for a year now, until I was reminded of the eclipse last evening. I realized that this eclipse can turn things around for us. 4- what is generally accepted as far as RV spaces? I looked online, and it is recommended to have 20 by 40. I drive a truck with a trailer all the time, and I understand the space requirements for turning and backing up. But if I wanted to entice people to make it into their home for the future, what is an acceptable space. 5- What relationship is there between the ground keeper and the people who live on the RV park? I was thinking if I do this, I would want a nice relationship with the people who live there. What is your opinion on this topic? I am sure people with RVs who want to turn this into fulltime would also be looking to have a good relation with their neighbors. Thank you.

Why don't you sign up as a Harvest Host or something else similar . Are you wanting to make a profit or is this an investment?

Seniors, uncle Sam, and AAA, often offer discounts. You don't know until you ask. They certainly won't advertise. I would hope that a lot of those complaints are not happening often especially if a person gets mad that they don't get a discount. The children issue I say, stuck it up buttercup! Everyone has things about their jobs they don't like. So silly!
