Need some suggestion How is the samyang 18mm f2.8 on sony a7iii as compared to sony10-18mm f4 on a6400? I am planning to go on sony system. And i am confused between sony a7iii or a6400 because of that ultrawide lens. I have two sets in mind but I can’t choose which one to go 1. Sony a7iii+ tamron 28-75 f2.8+ samyang 18 f2.8 2. Sony a6400+ sigma trio + sony 10-18 f4 I mostly shoot in the range of 24-70 but sometimes I need that ultrawide lens(near 16 mm) for covering the whole landscape and some creative photos with unique perspective that ultrawide gives. I am not much into video or vlogging. Photo is my priority. F2.8 on full frame will give me sufficient amount of blur and low light capability. It would be much better to just zoom in and out on tamron than changing lens each time with the sigma trio. And it will be easier to carry one lens than carrying three lens while travelling. But If I go with a7iii and tamron 28-70 I couldn’t afford more than the samyang 18mm lens. If the samyang lens is as good as sony 10-18 I would easily go with a7iii but I don’t know if the photo quality of samyang is as good as the sony 10-18. since it is a cheap lens I have some doubt. Can you tell me about those lens which one should I go for?

Normally people don't exhibit any long term "BRAND LOYALTY". They choose gear's purely on basis of their budget and the commercial benefit's they can extract..For most amateurs and hobbyist, DSLR or Mirrorless technology of most manufacturers (worth their salt) have matured to such an extent that it doesn't matter which gear one uses to create a good image but it's the person behind the camera / lens who has mastered his skills and how to use the gear effectively in different situations to yield good Image's...

Comparing Drive speed with the mechanical shutter and electrinic shutter of A9 and A9 ii.. Read this in an article “Both cameras can shoot at 20fps with the electronic shutter, but the A9 can only go up to 5fps with the mechanical shutter. The A9 II doubles this performance to 10fps.’ What is the shutter we commonly use while shooting wildlife -electronic or mechanical Does Canon 7d Mark ii have an electronic shutter too ?

I too moved from canon to sony albit from mid level canon 77d +55-250 stmto Sony a7riv and 200-600 G recently...i am blown away with the af system, and image quality and i absolutely love the evf...you capture what you see...Did you try your demo a7riv with 200-600 how did you like the combo...

One more great feature of sony camera is the EVF directly shows the preview of the exposure you are going to get before actual click, so you never get wrong with the exposure. Overall Sony is going to kill Canon Nikon if they don't catch up with their mirrorless technology.

How about test shots of the Sony a7iv 4k crop 60fps with Sony 16-55 f2.8 lens? The new Tamron aps-c Zoom lenses and the Sigma new aps-c Zoom lenses. Also, do several similar tests with Fuji aps-c prime lenses for Sony e-mount: Fuji 16mm f1.4; Sigma 19mm f/2.8; Sigma 30mm f/1.4; Sigma 56mm f/1.4.

I have Sony a7r iii . Will this work well with 200-600Sony lens for wild life and birding photography? Not having Sony a9 -a great disadvantage ? Can I manage with Sony a7r iii ? Since a9 has 20 fps whereas a7riii has 10 -will it make a great difference for birding and wild life ?

A7R3 is quite a capable camera with 200-600. Of course the A9 auto focusing is much better, but this combination will be good for your needs.

Tom Oldham just won Sony's portrait award again this year and he's a Hassablad shooter, so it's all about the tool and NOT the BRAND. I don’t know why this video is getting so much hate. The guy switched to Sony probably for a reason. I myself I got canon camera after I watch one of his free training video on KZbin and I said I’m going to by canon and then buy his training course and learn from Sudhir himself but was a bit disappointed he switched to a different brand but not going to hate on the guy. Thank you very much sir for this video... This was a much needed one and it really cleared lots of accumulated doubts from my mind. Now there just lies one more additional question to it of mine, sir.... That these sony cameras like a7iii, a7riii, a9 are tremendously expensive... I admit that quality comes for a price but still the price is so high for anyone to get goosebumps... And sir i have a mindset that i dont want to buy any of my cameras or lenses from the money of my parents... Whatever i can afford should be from my own savings.... So my question lies that how can i gather the funds for purchasing them, like can u please guide me on this matter please ? We may not have that financial freedom but have the freedom to dream and crave for the best gear, how so ever time it might take... So how can i afford them ? If u could kindly guide me sir.... Over all what you are saying is you don't need to be a talented photographer with the sony camera.
