Biggest issue with myrise is.. is being a champion and if you pick a non title story, your player doesn't carry the belt to the ring. Also if you're the US (for example and become wwe champion), the game then just forgets that.. lol. And the tag team entrances!!

One thing I prefer over 2K20 over 2K22 is in my career we actually compete at ppv’s for title matches, feuds, etc. Most of the time it happens at raw/smackdown/nxt.

I feel the notion of the list would've been better story wise if it was done in 2k22 and not 2k20. Because My rise needs some sort of container to convey some form of progress or time passing. Plus it'd give you goals to hit and aim for, and see what creative different storyline ways you can get to that point. My rise as I've seen just seems like a mishmash of moments. Like this happens and then this and then I did this and that, but it really isn't a story per say.

Honestly if 2K19 and 2K20's story mode allowed you to have the creative freedom of your wrestler that MyRise has (IE, being able to design your created wrestler EXACTLY how you wanted them to look, fight and make their way to the ring and not a preset outfit with the rest being unlocked via lootpack) I would've enjoyed them more also give your character more choices on how their personality is presented I don't want to make some Wardlow looking dude who's preference of how he'd like his steak cooked is "Wipe it's ass and cut it's horns" only to have him acting like a dork.

I think you could have picked a better example for "better storylines". Tre and Miz fighting over a movie role on a movie set might be goofy, but at least it's original compared to the whole "angry former champion injures new champion" used here with Ciampa which has only been done 56776437644 times already throughout wrestling history. The main point for MyRise IMO is that it offers more freedom which is definitely a good thing, but the MyCareers in 2K19 and 2K20 offered a cinematic experience with a proper ending that gave one a sense of actual completion when finished. When you "finish" MyRise, it's just your character standing in a room doing nothing. Anything else is subjective and I like both for different reasons.

Way too easy to get titles shots. No real sense of accomplishment. No real story to follow No calendar year No ending....apparently Forced to change your alignment to finish the story progression. Which is absolute trash. Don't come out with your title in non title matches Can get an IC, US, or North American championship match even if you are the current World Chanp in any of the brands. Stay on one brand...you end up just seeing the same arena over and over. No PPVs unless you do a story. Even then it's not guaranteed Great there is a separate womens career Enjoy the unique spin they when it came to wrestling the legends. Like Andre. Kind of odd that fans or who ever they are being portrayed as....asking you for favors. Kind of odd that a podcaster is basically manipulating you for ratings. Lol Some of the stories are quite good even if they are brief.
