So I'm making this video because my blog is undergoing a huge change. I searched online for some help on how to go about changing niches and haven't found much content on it. Thank you so much for this video. I get so hung up on whether or not I should continue my niche or try to pivot. I have some blog articles that have ranked (not on first page). I get overwhelmed with the competition as well. But then again I only have about 15 articles. Anyway, this video helped to take off some pressure. Thank you!

Thanks a lot. This really inspires me. The 3 reasons why you shouldn't change your hit me hard. 1 question about that though, on the first reason, "The niche is too crowded", is it the same thing as "too broad", the exact opposite of the second reason (too narrow)?

No, it's still different. "Too crowded" means there are so many people blogging about the niche. "Too broad" means the niche is too vague and not specific enough. Though I've learned, that you can still blog if you find your niche too broad or too narrow and you'll still do great :)

Thank you for this wonderful video. I would like to ask you about my situation. I am a civil engineer and I started blogging last year about civil engineering. I did not work hard I only posted 19 articles. Some of them ranked well in google. Now I switched my job into cybersecurity and it will be my occupation in all of my life. I want to switch my topic into technology and cybersecurity. My domain name and logo are not about civil engineering and I do not have many subscribers to consider. Please share your ideas and advices on my situation. Thanks

Hi Onur, I recommend to start writing content about your new niche right away. Then when the time comes to update your logo and domain name, you can change it. But it's not necessary to do it right away. Build your traffic first and also see if you like writing about your new niche too.

It’s super distracting watching you when you keep looking down to read lines. It also appears to be inauthentic, amateur and less personable. I’m no expert but maybe get a prompt to read off instead? Or memorize your lines

got it. I have a prompter to read but it's also an obstacle making it feel authentic. I normally blog and decided to make a video version of my blog posts for additional traffic so I'm actually reading off exactly what I write. That said, thank you for your critique, I definitely don't want to come off inauthentic.
